. I agree terrorism is worse bt do u know drug trafficking is right nxt to it? Do u know d harm drugs do to society? We need to orientate our society on d danger of drug and drug trafficking. Where drug flow is high, hunger is present, prostitution is high, joblessness is high, STD's are high, crime rate is high, violence in general is very present, various sorts of internal organ diseases e.t.c

My dear it's high time people take responsibility for their actions and way of life. Are you saying all those men making an honest living don't have women around themhuh
You cheat because you want to, push drugs because you want to, carry guns and kill because you want to. Most men even make dirty money nowadays simply to impress and intimidate their fellow men.

You guys should leave women out of it.
yep, i get ur point, lady. Nd i agree wit u bt nt totally. Factors that make people go into crime are more than one. Naturally, men(most) do anytin to impress women. Espexialy wen these women make high demands. I know u know dat. Get my point. D women did not force dem. Bt in a society where bride price is as expensive as a vacation trip to Azgad, if a guy really loves nd wants to marry a woman he loves, he eida makes money V.FAST or 4geys her. Neither is an easy option. I get ur point tho. But women are a major factor, just like greed is.

PoliticsBuhari And Nigerians Should Prepare For This Investment Boom- Seun Thomas by Seunboss(op):
The past few years has been described by various economic experts
including former CBN governor, Charles soludo, as a boom in the oil
sector that we did not take advantage of. This period could have meant
development for us as a nation.
However, it seems another opportunity will come knocking in the next few
years, not just on the country's development but on the financial and
econonmic welfare of Nigerians and hence the growth of this country. I
do not have quotes but i know some of you would have read articles
talking about the now-becoming-expensive labour in china and some other
asian countries. When labour becomes expensive for producers, they look
for cheaper labour, hence the former source for labour from Europe and
the U.S.A, to countries like China and india. If these countries can no
longer provide cheap labour, that leaves African countries as the next
source of cheap labour. Nigeria comes to mind. This shifting investment,
if made use of will help effortlessly diversify our economy. I think
the president elect, when he gets to power, can help us by: 1) Revamping
the educational system: it has not been uncommon for foreign companies
to cite the 'unemployability' of Nigerian graduates and lack of experts,
to bring in their own labour from their country, hence, denying us
jobs, a better HDI and higher revenues. This can be handled by revamping
the educational system and positioning educated youths to be a major
part of the growing middle class that will result from increased capital
investments. 2) proper orientation and aids in the form of
loans and technological assistance to local producers. This will have
the effect of providing quality materials or resources either for export
or for sale to incoming and already present companies.
3) There should be at least a little shift from producing
primary products to secondary or even tertiary products. This will
enlarge our market structure and create more jobs for both literate and
illiterate. 4) Government should also lower taxes on incoming companies
and also not neglect the domestic side of the economy. 5) Also, other
states and towns have to be properly urbanized and ready for the growth,
so we do not have brazil's situation where the rich and middle class
are majorly in some states while residents of other states remain poor.
(Better even dispersal of the wealth). This would also help reduce the
overpopulation of Lagos and kano state and reduce the crime rate of the
country. 6) A strong financial institution should also be set in
place. We can help ourselves and our government by focusing on
studies and not criminal activities(for students), listening for capital
investments and then going about ways to make ourselves relevant to
these companies, making sure we vote the right candidates and demanding
for good governance. Please add your suggestions. Good morning,
Nairalanders! Seun Thomas.

PoliticsRe: Audit Report Indicts NNPC, Corporation To Refund $1.48billion by Seunboss(m): 3:02pm On Feb 05, 2015
Come on, nairalanders, do not be deceived. Let us analyze this. Sanusi said 20billion dollz was missing. The minister of finance who should know said the missing amount was just over 10billion. She gave the govt a soft landing on the issue. All along, we have been callin for auditing. It did not come until now that the election is around the corner and it reports a much lesser amount missing than d minister of finance acknowledged was missing. This is also a soft landing and merely an attempt for dis govt to show credibility. Ask yourself this. Can a corrupt govt such as the one we have buy over the auditing company? Can they limit the access to documents? Y then did d president shield Diezani from EFCC and senate interrogation( he defended her on air). I am not fooled by this. They should have made the auditing a matter of emergency and not give d NNPC enof tym to cover its tracks lyk they did for d minister of aviation. Open ur eyes pple, they av told u wat they want u 2 hear. Wat do u b-liv?

Romancehow can a guy solve this problem? by Seunboss(op):
I have seen somthings that got me wondering. I have had female friends who refuse to have sex with their boyfriend's but have done it with their ex's and somtimes do it with other guyz. Not a pretty picture for the boyfriend in question. I av heard several guyz complain that they av neva had sex with their girlfriends. Most times, these girls don't claim to b virgins and after the break up, they giv their nxt boyfriend's all the sex he needs for 2 lifetimes. This has led a lot of guys to believe that 'if ur girl ain't givin u sex, then she doesn't love u'. I confronted a friend and her defence was "i fancy him but not sexually". I av 3 questions. 1) Is it true that if your girlfriend doesn't av a problm wit premarital sex and still does not sleep with you, she does not love u? 2) Otherwise wat are the reasons for this? 3) And how should a guy in this situation do to improve his chances.

First to comment. Fp tins!! I particularly love a playful nd independent woman. Right on all counts. Bt they are hard to find. Wit all d chics or most on nairaland demandin t.fare b4 they go c their boyfrenz, talks abt d inconvenience of dating a guy without a car, independent gurls get more scarce making dem much more valuable dan d rest wen they are found. No man wnts a liability! Ladies, at least learn 2 take care of urselves. Ur kitten can't buy u financial protection unless u are a sex worker. Seriously, do a research. Most guys want ladies that can handle themselves not those who are ever demanding nd guys usually b-liv dat wen a lady is always demandin, she does not lov d guy. I b-liv dat 2. I need u 2 ask. Make me feel lyk i'm d man. Lyk u lean on me a bit. Don't worry. I know u can actually take care of urself. U just doin me a favour. Bt don't be a leech

I av neva 4 once paid her t.fare 2 com visit me. Y wuld i do dat? Do i av 2 beg my gurlfrend 2 com visit? If so wats d diff btw her nd a random chic? Will she pay my t.fare wen i go 2 visit her? Y shuld she do dat? It is utterly senseless unless she is broke or unless she ain't ur girl. If she always demands t.fare, then obviously she is always demandin nd bro, u ain't got a gurl. Look for someone u don't av 2 beg. If she loves u nd wants 2 c u, she won't demand u pay d fare.
