Did I see the nigerian british actor,David Oyelowo, or my eyes are deceiving me! |
KennyID17:Nothing is as it seems, keep watching.... |
prettyboi1989:Welcome to the club, for me I like them big. Its fun watching big aircraft carrier sized ships battling it out, that why I can never forget the CQB episode. Just wait, something similar is coming up in the finale! |
Dalek:You ain't seen nothing yet... |
Dalek:For a great show, syfy did a terrible job with advertisements. The God Netflix bought the right for international view, but currently they are not streaming season 2 live. For those watching the show, season 2 is just the beginning of the massive political upheaval between earth and mars and the resultant space battles. What I love most about the The expanse is it's realistic depictions of space in relation to other space scifis. There is a beautiful thread for it on reddit, if you're interested, check it out |
Simply put, most people especially Africans lack imagination. They forgot that there's only only one, which is "Thought are Things". Every current ideas, thoughts and imaginations will become future things and services, the whites understand that, that's why they stimulate their children imaginations with toys, books and tv documentary and shows that plants idea seed early in life. When i read people say it's boring, i laugh. The current level of civilization is built on countless cycles of fantasy, moral and scifi ideas from many centuries ago. Well, i may excuse our level of imagination based on our current socio-economic conditions; but the whites also went through this path but it never drown their imaginations and optimism, so we have no excuse. For the interested in more scifi books read "The Expanse"set of books, starting with "Leviation Wakes", it is a hard scifi. |
Unionised:What a beautiful movie based on true event....it proves one thing; talents and geniuses are equally distributed among all races equally. Several times I've heard people saying the whites are far more intelligent than us...I usually shake my head and say to myself "what have we become?" Scientifically it has been proven that there's no superior race...take a baby from say Nigeria to the developed world, expose him to living condition, knowledge, equipments, positive mindset there. Let see whether he won't perform just as hood or even better than the residents. Our problem is selfishness , our need to control our fellow brothers and sisters at whatever cost; so far as we're living a comfortable, kingly but purposeless life, nothing really matters! This Truth is certain though, "we are born and made of stars...that means we're all stars". THE MOST ORDINARY OF US CAN ACCOMPLISH IMMENSELY UNBELIEVABLE THINGS! |
Equal2DeTask:Betterhardware, but most importantly great software support; theyve got the best android variant in China. In the end, it all comes down to what you want and how much you wanna spend |
Equal2DeTask:I dont know much about phone right now. The best phone brand in China right now is Xaomi, there are other brands though search online on gsmarena, online retailers etc. If you prefare performance over beauty and photo quality then look for phones with Snapdragon processor and chipsets, 2gb or more memory and good quality GPU. Research, use what you like in a phone to determine which one you'll buy. Happy shopping |
Equal2DeTask:Yeah, but newer and better ones should be available, it over 6 months old now |

Every time i try to connect to the net i get you run out of data message, then the browser keep directing me to etisalat portal to buy a data bundle. I inquired from the seller about what to do but he doesn't have a clue, ive migrated to PAYGO tariff, thinking that it'll solve my problem but to no avail, instead my balance was drained to 0 and im back to square one. Has anybody faced this problem before if so how did you solve it, any help will be appreciated, thanks? Note: My sme data balance is still at 4990mb |
Already joined. I generally don't believe in the principle and philosophy of nationhood, to me it's just a means by which a group of people chose to benefit themselves at the expense of their fellow humans. So if Asgardia will treat every person no matter their country with equity and respect then i'm in, anyway, let's see how it goes... ![]() |
Princetolu94:The most rare and dangerous substance ever |
Olasco93:First you need a credit or debit card activated for online transaction. Register on aliexpress and update your profile especially your shipping address. Search for the product you're interested in, there will be several sellers selling it, look and pick the one with high rating and best price. Once satisfied make your purchase and pick the best shipping method you're OK with. |
BuzzRay:The screen is made with normal glass ie it isn't a gorrilla glass. Mine came prefixed with screen protector, but you can order for it seperately. Tho only problem I have with it is how long it takes to charge, it doesn't support quick charge apparently. It takes 4 to 5hrs to charge it from about 15% to full charge. Since I've been using it I haven't discharged it past 15%, that partly due to it effecient battery. I rooted it 2 wks after purchase via XDA developer; it has its own thread. The fingerprint scanner is super responsive. |
MJBOLT:LMAO...ROTF I just had to coment....someone is thinking faster than light, even bending spacetime... Hahahaaaa, I bet his brain and body isn't made up of any matter...OK, his an embodiment of dark energy and matter...Nah even those won't cut it. Thee only answer my brain can come up with is he's omniscient...he created the universe and relish in his grandeur WTF did I write...LMFAO |
Esegracexxx:It doesn't work, tried this about a week ago yet airtel still stole my money. It seems it's all about luck, just pray airtel thieving AI doesn't fix it eyes on you |
Indisputable fact!!! Below is the reply given by Professor Yusuf Dankofa of Faculty of Law, A.B.U. Zaria to Mr. Shakabula when he wrote to the Professor that his Organisation wants to confer an "award of honour" on him! ****************************** "Dear Mr. Shakabula, I herein acknowledged the receipt of your letter and also seek your forgiveness for making my reply viral. You know, some of us in the academia can be very overbearing. I have perused the said letter and without any equivocation reject your organisation's offer to award or if I may use your exact words "confer on me a distinguished merit award for being meritorious". I do not understand what you meant by saying that I am meritorious and I also question why being meritorious should attract garlands for me. If indeed I am meritorious, am I not being paid for that? Didn't my employers in my schedule of duty anticipate that I would fulfil my duties diligently under the oath of my office? Why is it that in Nigeria we like to over rate the elites and undervalue the downtrodden? If you are to give an award, why not Mal. Usman, the departmental messenger who is constantly overworked and underpaid by the system, yet end up with poor work evaluation? If indeed, you are interested in rewarding those who have done extra ordinary feats, I think Mal. Ilya the departmental driver, who has spent over 25 years driving us to all the nooks and corners of this country in the rickety departmental bus should have caught your fancy for this purpose. Mal. Iliya has remained dedicated and contented with his meagre salary unlike the overrated elites who draw fabulous salaries for sitting in their air conditioned offices for only 5 hours a day. Mal. Iliya does not have closing hours, he does not have a sensible overtime emolument and when we are outside jurisdiction, Mal. Iliya does not have the luxury of sleeping in a hotel. He spends the night in his rickety vehicle and if not that God appreciates the commitment of Mal. Ilya, by giving him divine protection, he would long have been dead due to the effects of ravaging mosquitoes. If your organisation can not spot people like Mal. Iliya and shortlist them for such honours, then you people are culpable in the distortions that down play the elevation of real patriots in Nigeria Overtime you have spent unnecessary time promoting our leaders by conferring unto them undeserved honours. How can ministers and governors be constantly honoured when they are heavily paid with tax payers money? If a Governor plants a tree, you people will write a book in his honour. Let him pay salaries of workers, he will be rewarded with a Ph.D. If the governor marries second wife nko? You guys will decorate him and the second wife with national awards. Let him build 3 blocks of classroom in any local area, he will be rewarded as the Waziri of that locality. The question may then be asked, why clapping for someone who has been mandated by law to provide such community services bearing in mind that under the principle of public accountability, he should be taken to task if he fails to deliver? Capitalism no doubt in context and forms continues to antagonise the poor even when it is clear that the commitment of the poor to nation building far out performs that of the rich. Whenever soldiers come out of any war successful, the Generals would be rewarded with so many medals and garlands while the nurses, the drivers and other non visible members of the force would be excluded, forgetting the fact that that victory may not have occurred without those who performed the above services on the battlefield. That is the nature of capitalism. It downplays any heroic effort of the lower class and project the antics of the elites as epic. Therefore, Mr. Shakabula, I will advice that you start recognising the role of Adamu the cleaner, who has been cleaning my office and others in the department for the past 25yrs without which I may not have gotten the peace of mind and the composure to sit in the office and engage in research. The same Adamu after cleaning our offices will move to the library and make it dust free including all the lavatories. Mr. Adamu lives on 15k a month with 4 children and one wife, he has never stolen public fund nor accepted public fund as a gift unlike our shameless elites whom you always accord extra ordinary feats upon. Mr. Adamu a honest labourer has not gotten your fancy, why? Why does capitalism shamelessly promotes an exclusionist agenda against honest men that are economically disadvantaged? Mr. Shakabula, I will only accept your medal of honour if you can provide answers to my questions. Why and why have you refused to recognise the good works of madam Rebecca the female labourer who sweeps our streets everyday for pittance and unjustly promote the man that embezzles public funds or that man that capitalism has conferred upon an undue advantage?" ~Prof. Yusuf Dankofa Though I do not agree with Prof. Yusuf who blames the problem on capitalism, it is a socially engineered mindset issue systematically created by the elites for their sole benefit. Nevertheless, it's one of the injustice that is endemic in Nigeria. |
