enough of all these improvement issues. Apparently, Adebayor might remain with Arsenal this season. as the clubs that were interested in him are getting quieter and quieter concerning his issue. Won't it be better if Wenger reduces his price so he can go because If he stays, it will be a very tough season for him at Arsenal as Arsenal fans all over the world have lost so much respect for him as a person. He might even be benched and the likes of Bendtner or Walcott will take his place cos he might not produce the same form he produced last season. As it stands, it will be better for |
Arsenal fans are not planning anything don't just be surprised if the likes of Rooney and Tevez are not in the team this coming season. |
And the kidnappers cannot find their way to Abuja? oh I see!!! |
sexyboy:I hope u understand the meaning of the above statement!! |
we celebrated the unbeaten run because it was coupled with beautiful football. ![]() |
I hope Nigerians will kidnap some of these players instead of wasting time with Yobo's brother. Instead of them to be thinking of how they'll kidnap Rooney and Tevez. Anyway I trust Nigerians on this one, they won't disappoint me ![]() |
dayokanu:As a fan or as a member of the team? Only a member of the team should rather have his team play ugly football and win trophies. As a fan what do you derive in your team playing ugly football and winning trophies, at the end of the day, they win the trophies , the money et al and what do you get? nothing!!! ![]() As a fan I want to see my team play beautiful football that will enrtertain me because football should be about the entertainment not the trophies. ![]() As long as Arsenal keeps producing the most entertaining football in England, I ain't gon complain. Though the players, staff and all might complain but as a fan I'm more interested in the joy of the beautiful game, beautiful football. Though I'd rather have beautiful football and win trophies at the same time, but if I were left with a choice, I'd pick beautiful football anytime. ![]() |
JavaPrince, out of the blue? I'm shocked, honestly speaking, don't reiterate what arsenal-haters call us. At least construct the sentence in such a way that it won't have negative connotations. ![]() |
There's this feeling I have, a very strong feeling that can't be shaken off. We have no problems in our defensive Midfield department. The man for the Job is our beloved Denilson, he is young and has definitely matured. Watched the Carling Cup Last Season and he scored a brilliant goal against Newcastle and made a few assists to Eduardo's goals in the Competition. The red card he received and the injury he sustained was very detrimental to him. I think playing alongside Fabregas would produce the best in him. Let's not forget he has some killer crosses too. Forget Alonso, Forget Barry. We'd have Diaby as his substitute. Denilson for Defensive Midfield. UP DENILSON.

It looks like Gilberto is on the verge of departing us to join Greek team Panathinaikos. He is set to sign a three year deal which is more than we would have offered him so good luck to him. He is the ultimate professional, doesn't complain when he is not in the starting eleven, doesn't demand stupid wages, gives his all whenever he plays. I wish him more luck than Diarra, Hleb, Flamini and all the rest of the ship jumpers. Infact I hope they drown while Bert sails to safety on his boat playing his mandolin. So what does the loss of Gilberto mean to Arsenal? It means that we are now short on numbers in the center of midfield, something that you would have laughed at last season. We have lost Diarra, Flamini and Gilberto who are all defensive midfielders. Song has been moved to center back and will not play in the holding position barring an emergency. So it looks very likely that Arsene will sign a player in that position before the window closes. Apparently Bishcoff is already in and he is an attack minded midfielder and in my eyes Diaby is also an attacking midfielder, so Arsene will have his eyes set on bringing in at least one holding player. I still cannot envisage Arsene wanting to bring in the man with two first names for over £15 million. It goes against Arsene's philosophy and I do not expect that to change. As much as I think Arsene would like Arshavin at Arsenal I am not sure that he would pay anywhere near the asking price so I think it is a problem that may not be resolved. Half the £24 million asking price and we could have a deal. Alex Hleb is apparently having his Barcelona medical today before being unveiled to the press. Hopefully this is the end of the whole saga. Once the deal goes through I would expect Arsene to sign players when Hleb officially departs. So what is this Xabi Alonso link about? That phone call from Pat Rice to Martin O'Neil to ask about the Barry situation would make a lot of sense if this was the case. I don't know what he is like defensively but he is a fantastic passer of the ball. At 26 would be an interesting partnership with Fabregas. This is our Season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
