Heeboy94:You can download anyone of them first, but you need to install and run recovery tools first, because that's what you'll be flashing the CWM recovery image with. Be very careful and follow the steps diligently. |
Heeboy94:1. You need to download the recovery tool. Recovery tool is here https://www.dropbox.com/s/tzcj4soapbji3kg/Recovery-Tools.apk 2. Download the CWM recovery image of your device. It should end in .img 3. After downloading, Move the file to the root of your SD card. i.e it should not be in any folder. 4. Start the recovery tool and click on 'yes' button 5. Click on where you see "flash other recovery" 6. Search for the .img file you downloaded to your sd card, and click on it. 7. Flashing begins. Wait for flash to complete. 8. The most dangerous part. Click on boot to recovery, or manually enter CWM recovery mode, by pressing your power+volume up button. Scroll to Back-up and Restore. Click on it. Scroll to Backup. Click on it. Wait for the Backup to complete. That's all. You're now insure against accidental bricking of your device. |
Mayorwer:Innjoo Note is exclusive to Jumia. No one else can get it for you. |
Heeboy94:Lolz. Issokay, bros. Since you've rooted, the next bit would be CWM. I don't know where you can get the CWM for your H6, but maybe if you look on Nairaland, H6 thread or you can find a way to contact the OP here http://www..com/2014/09/download-cwm-recovery-image-for-all.html?m=1, you can do the CWM and back-up your device, so as to keep you from any brick. |
chinosxl:Oga Chinosxl, thanks for the tips. They'll come in handy. Meanwhile, I have a package headed to your office, clothings. I'll send you the details via email tonight. As per the car shipping, can you educate us more on what year is the limit of the cars you have shipped recently, and in accordance to Nigeria's FG/Customs regulation? |
nvnnyz:I'm currently uploading boot.img to Dropbox. I'll send in the link later. Meanwhile, where do I locate logo.bin? |
peawizzy:Awuff dey run belle, I hope you know? You're going to brick your phone sooner than later, if you keep changing your IMEI. All for just 500mb monthly, Abi? Why not just do Glo 3GB BIS jejely, or is 1k too much? Anyway, ride on. |

Is the free MB a monthly thing or what?. Meanwhile, those R7s that you're using their IMEI, did the original owners not activate their free MB? |
peawizzy:Kaiii. Nigerians. So, when you finish am, u go port back to your normal IMEI, Abi? |
nvnnyz:I have. |
nvnnyz:Where do I get the files? |
Saucekide25:lol me I'm not that adventurous o. Since the big guys at XDA don condemn the update, I no need to bother myself again. |
Trippledots:Don't get me wrong, the phone doesn't get hot. But, I want to be able to control it if it ever does. That can be achieved with underclocking. Some of our phones come slightly overclocked from factory, to improve speed, cancel game lags, and processor performance. The downside of that is that your phone may heat up from time to time, especially when multi-tasking or running heavy apps. |
nvnnyz:Thanks, bro. Gracias. I'll read more on Google. Did you read about my music player issue, on distorted music from the speakers, sounding like a cassette tape that's coiling up inside the player? What do you suggest? |
nvnnyz:We previously warned everyone to steer clear of that update. It's buggy. Stay safe people. |
Saucekide25:Nice one, bro. Just reading through nau. Does this let you INSTALL APPS to memory card, not just save pictures and movies et al? Thanks. |
peawizzy:Go to Playstore, and in the search field, type MobileUncle tools. It's in English. |
I have a complaint with my music player. I don't know maybe need to restore my phone to factory settings or wipe it and restore from CWM backup. Nowadays, when music is playing, the output sounds distorted, like a old cassette tape player sounds, before it gets all coiled up...lol. It's irritating, and it started around last week. I don't know if it has anything to do with my 32GB memory card. What do you advise? |
peawizzy:http://res.kingroot.net/msoft/webapp_kingroot/image/KingRoot_Android_3.4.1.157-General_105001.apk That's the link to the one @adeinfinit posted, which I used. |
nvnnyz:Lol. Welcome to the club, bro, the phone is pretty snappy. Hehehehehe. That's what I've been enjoying oo. I don't need any octacore device, this one is enough for me. |
nvnnyz:What does that do, bro? What can be achieved with that? How can I increase my phone's volume, both for calls and for media? How can I also under clock the phone, to stabilize the phone's temperature? |
Godvilla:Like I said earlier, you're one of the many users who just carry specs on your head. You're one of those smart phone users who aren't smart at all, and that's why you'll pay so much to buy phones with retina screens and octacore processors and then you'll complain about battery drain or hotness. You can't eat your cake and have it. What the phone companies aren't telling you is that having a large high-res screen + powerful processor at 20k isn't a deal you should be excited about. Something has got to give, for all that. That said, the only phone you can compare the Kissme with is the Innjoo Note, and Innjoos don't come with accessories as the Doogees from TSO do. |
peawizzy:There's a link to download that Mobile Uncle too somewhere between pages 3-7. That version there works well. I don't know what you mean by English version, the App is in English already nah. Mobile is English, Uncle is English. Nor be so? |
EMMAACHILE:No mind the guy. Dem dey carry specs put for head, like say dem know anything. What sense is there in having octacore processor and 720p screen on a 1900mah ba3? |
Slimpromzy:Broda mii, I just tire for some Nigerians jarey. Dem no dey appreciate anything. |
peawizzy:They already pointed you in the right direction. Follow the instructions. Download Kingroot, there's a link somewhere on pages 3-6. Rooting is less than 30seconds, then you can delete Kingtoot, if you want, and you'd be left with KingUser. |
DNDROID:Kaiii. What theme or launcher is that? I'd love to have a black theme like that too. |
Godvilla:You don't need to compare anything. It's a matter of choice. If you think having an octacore 1.4GHz processor and a 720p screen on a 1900mah battery makes much sense, go for the Innjoo. If you think you prefer a 5.5" screen with 540p screen resolution, on a quadcore phone that is fast enough and runs on a 2500mah battery, go for the Doogee. I currently use a Doogee Voyager 2 DG-310, and I don't regret one bit of the experience. The phone is a real performer, I don't even need to upgrade. No lags at all. |
Godvilla:Cost not 'Cause'. And you still came here to type rubbish. Why should a phone with these specs cost 13k? Ignoramus. It's obvious you don't own a smart phone. So, if you manufacture a phone with these specs, you'll sell it 13k, Abi? |
