Its coz of the state of our nation. An average man lives in a rented appartment for maybe 45 yrs or more and its not likely to have a pet in an rented accommodation unlike abroad that have access to mortgage, someone in this category will have bills and a pet would be the last thing on his mind on the other hand those that have dier own homes are prone to having pets but even at that few are willing to spend so much on a pet and if there are no pets then there are no vets!!

Let's keep praying the economy of our country continues to get better

fredosan: the the latest info i got is that some politicians are interested in the recruitment so the arrangement inorder to inject their candidates brought about third batch which had been rectified so what we are expecting is the letter and above all let us use the master key which is prayer to break the jinx may God help us

I was in primary five and was on my way to school when I stumbled on my mum's market list. Number one on the list was indian hemp. I cried all day in school and refused to eat because I felt my mum was a drug addict. On getting home I narrated it to my uncle and he laughed his brains out said she was referring to indian hemp hair cream!!!
I felt so stupid!!

Well, I will say it depends!! Personally I would rather have my motherinlaw around coz she's warm and very patient.infact, she came for both my kids omugwos cause If my mum came we would fight most of the time; the little time she spent after my motherinlaw left she will do the direct opposite of what I want and tell me that's how she raised me, but my MIL never does that, and yeah she presses me with hot water and gives me all the attention and care I need. She's just an exceptional woman and I'm so blessed to have her.

So, it should depend on the lady and the circumstances!!

jammyunn: On my street this morning, i witnessed a butcher killing a goat for a restaurant there without conscience. He tied the goat as not to escape, the poor animal was just shouting its voice out, the man went ahead and killed it despite all the screams and resistance. I felt so bad within me and i wished there was a law banning such action in this country. Animals when need be to kill should be done rightly like we have in other countries, and not in full glare of the public.

At this point, I don't think anybody knows. Let's just remain prayerful and patient, though its hard sha!

Seun: Actually, I mean American Eskimo and not Samoyed. They look alike, but they behave very differently:
- American Eskimos can be good watchdogs (they bark at strangers) while Samoyeds are best friends to everyone.
- American Eskimos can be trained to obey commands reliably, while most Samoyeds have minds of their own.

Physical differences: American Eskimo dogs have a greater tendency to have tearstains and live longer. Samoyeds are significantly bigger.

Seun: American Eskimo! They are good watchdogs but also friendly and trainable: they were popularly used as circus dogs in the US.

Ok, I've seen pictures. I like the golden retriever though they are not as hairy as I want but where will one get this kind of dog in Nigeria?

Apitch: St bernard is ur dog but costly to maintain. They are giant dogs too
You can also try the golden retrievers or labrador but the later is not that hairy

Oh I see!! Thanks a lot Oga seun. What breed will you recommend for me then? I want a Hairy, friendly(coz I've got kids), big and fine, I want more of a pet dog and not really for security.

Seun: People need to know what their puppies will be like when they grow up. The best way to do that is to look at what the parents are like.
A hairy puppy may grow up to look different from what you were expecting. It could be uglier or smaller or higher maintenance than expected.

I want to get a dog soon so I've been learning a lot from the thread. I just want a hairy fine dog but I notice people keep asking of pictures of dog parents before buying. Even if its not a pure bread what does it matter? Pls educate me!!

2) When and where to collect the hard copy of offer letter
3) When and where the documentation will take place.

Any Nigerian that can provide proof that he or she have been lawfully admitted for a period of atleast a year for another region/country(as a legal resident) can choose the local visa office responsible for that country/region.

CIC will evaluate your hubby's supporting document based on the time stamp it was received....application received date.

Dependants are the ones allowed to land with you......accompany yo to canada.(spouse,children and adopted children)
Immediate family members are qualified to be sponsored by you....that is the reason why their names have been listed by you in some of the forms.
If you are able to land in Manitoba province,you may be qualified to sponsor a friend to the province on yearly basis....subject to existing rules.

Hello gurus, I have tonnes of questions:

Firstly, must all Nigerian applications be sent to Accra or do we have an option of where to send it?

Secondly, my hubby will be 36 by december 2015 and he's the principal applicant, we would have submitted before december though but will he still be able to claim 12 points under age?

Thirdly, aside immiediate family members who and on what grounds can someone accompany you to Canada?
