Shuku0kukobambi: If you could think, you'd have notice my first post used in resurrecting the thread. It was to condemn it that i resurrected the thread even though i knew you soulless wawa potorpotor jews would come self-service on it
shut it. How is that your mumu post condemning buhari and his ineffectual leadership of the Nigerian state?
Shuku0kukobambi: Who lost the areas in the first place? You're more interested in playing politics with the matter with not a single thought for the soldiers and the civilians wasted there!! Do you know almost 2,000 were massacred in Baga in 2015 after Boko Haram took it? Did you not call Amnesty liars for reporting it then?
You condemned all this in 2015. What's happening now? Why are you suddenly dumb?
So all the noise in 2015 was all because it wasn't your man in power? you don't care if a thousand Nigerians are killed as long as it's your man in power.
ivandragon: GEJ had very poor media managers & advisers.
there are so many projects that I have seen that were been done by GEJ & were nearing completion, but have now been completed by PMB with an input of less than 1%.
there are some new CBN buildings in some states that will be commissioned soon by PMB. most of those CBN buildings were ready, just finishing touches were being put as at March 2015.
as soon as PMB entered, the projects were stalled. now, some of them are being cleaned & test run in anticipation of commissioning, nothing major was done, but PMB & his minions will take the full glory...
GEJ was to docile in marketing himself. Part of the reason i blame Reno that's hyperventilating everywhere now.
GEJ did massive amount of work in Nigeria....but doesn't have the media prowess to sing his own praises or maybe doesn't believe in singing his own praises. Buhari on the other had has the entire Tinubu media machine at this beck and call.
kolaaderin: And then GEJ could not campaign with the project. As usual your guess is as good as mine, it's an abandoned projects or even worst inaugurated on paper. PDP no get shame. 16year they could not commission any project for immediate use.
so,what input did Buhari actually put in the project? can u itemize them ?
dalongjnr: What stopped him(GEJ) from commissioning the project before he left office if it's, so completed! between the project and the ribbon for commissioning the project, which one is much cheaper? stopped taking Nigerians for granted, pls. we are not fools. Mind u,the project was initiated in 1987,so don't lie in a forum like this.
Godblesspmb: Useless PDP. If PDP can not finished building their Secretariat for over 20 yrs, how can they deliver a project in 16yrs? Never again shall we have PDP crooks at the national Treasury
what has PDPs secretarial got to do with APCs tendency to steal projects.
bantudra: here we go again.....fee dee fee goons are opening another drama hourly now.....
simple question. Was the dam already generating 40mw of electricity before 2015 or not? what's buhari's role in the entire project? can you quantify the work put in by buhari in the project?
Infact the project was already completed and was set to be commissioned in February of 2015 according to this 2014 report.
Nobody is saying that Buhari should not commission projects of past administration, but at least give credit when it's due...don't take the entire glory because that would discourage coming administration from embarking on any big project.
The Minister of Water Resources, Mrs. Sarah Ochekpe, has said that President Goodluck Jonathan will inaugurate the 40 megawatts Kashimbila multipurpose dam in February next year, The Punch reports.
Ochekpe said this when she and her counterparts in the ministries of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo; Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Mr. Edem Duke; and State for Power, Mr. Muhammed Wakil, inspected the dam in Taraba State.
She noted that as of the present, the dam was generating 40MW of hydro power, 2,000 hectares of land for irrigation, and had potential for tourism, aviation and transportation, and would provide 60,000 cubic metres of water daily to 400,000 people.
Ochekpe was quoted as saying, “We are here at Kashimbila with three of my colleagues and we are happy with the level of work that we see. As of 2010, the level of completion of this project was just 10 per cent; but now, you can see that the project is at its final stage.”
Nebo, on his part, said the Federal Government had approved the contract for the erection of transmission lines that would evacuate the electricity generated from the dam.
“The transmission infrastructure that will be put in place here will strengthen the entire Taraba up to Benue and Plateau states so that we can have more reliable and stable electricity in these parts of the country,” he said.
akeentech: 2019 is a brand new year and gives the open door for a new beginning.
And although in spite of the fact that it’s not 2019 yet (is around the conner), the sooner you manage your finances, the better.
Taking control of your finances can lead to a happier and peaceful life.
When your money is in control, life is plenty less stressful and you can concentrate more of your time on things that are very important to you.
The following are 6 money moves to make for 2019 and precisely how to achieve them.
#1. Pay off debt
Thanks bro. 2019 is our Money year. No time for rubbish.
If you pay off your debt you can get rid of a huge weight off your shoulders.
Once you paid off your debt, you can concentrate more on retirement, vacation, savings and more.
#2. Create saving goals
What precisely would you like to save for?
You can either start with a little or huge goal, however I suggest starting off with a small goal since you will complete it quickly and it’s going to give you more motivation to go after other goals.
Budget your income every month and pay yourself first. This implies you are saving before you do any other things.
Set aside a portion of your money specifically for savings, and after that bills, and afterward what you have left, you can spend on coffee and any fun activities.
#3. Create funds for unforeseen contingency
An emergency fund is crucial since life is unpredictable.
We never know what’s going to happen anytime soon and keeping money aside for moments like this is a must.
You can create a general emergency fund of $2,000, Tax deductible Enough money for car unpredictable repairs Home appliances repairs House repairs
#4. Investment
Investing is an extraordinary tool to help build wealth.
Investing is characterized by putting capital or money towards an endeavor with the hopeful outcome of making a profit.
This process requires patience and takes time, however can be very rewarding in the long-term.
#5. Plan a trip with cash
If you love traveling, set something aside for your trip in cash only so when you are on your trip, you don’t resort to credit or debit cards and overspend.
Part of the planning for a trip is to figure out how much you need to spend.
You should factor in transportation (flights, car rentals, etc.), accommodations, food, activities, tours, etc.
When you have the total sum you plan on spending, you should work that travel spending into your general budget.
Treat that travel savings just like you would with an electric or rent bill.
#6. Donate to charity
After you have paid off your debt, put enough money aside to your emergency fund, you may decide to start putting money towards your favorite charity.
This is a great way to give back in return to something you believe in and feel like you are truly contributing to the world.
You can start donating to your favorite charity like orphanage home that cater for children who lost their parents. They may be deducting an auto transfer out of your bank account each month, so it makes it really easy for you to donate once a month.
Even after billions of dollars spent on fighting BH by this administration , we are now worse off than we were during the budding years of BH under GEJ.
