Stalwert: You guys disgrace Africa, the same Trump said he made a sarcastic remarks you are here disgracefully defending swallowing poisonous disinfectants. Na wa one would think abolition of slavery actually ended slavery.
ThierryJay: I see you have a problem understanding English. Read the picture you quoted well. What was injected was the Vaccine and not the UV light. The UV was an adjective describing that the vaccine had been subjected to UV light to inactivate the virus. Obviously this must have been done "before" the injection of the vaccine into the human body.
I made reference to that article so you would see what Trump was relating to....
ThierryJay: You cannot "inject" light. To inject is to FORCE a liquid into something else. You can't force light into something.
And I did not say Trump used the word "another" in his speech. Read my comment well. I stated that his references to injection and disinfectant were in another paragraph.
No the statement is a continuation of his previous statement on UV and yes you can inject light.
ThierryJay: You know, your attempt at justifying the indefensible is getting really ridiculous and you are just proving that you are trying to cover up something with your very weak arguments.
See, you need to understand that Trump's bungle does not absolve Buhari of incompetence and cluelessness. They are not linked as you guys are making it look like. So there is nothing bad in admitting Trump messed up while you still continue to criticize your President.
In the transcript which I'm sure you have read, Trump clearly mentioned the UV light issue first and then went on to talk about ANOTHER option which was the disinfectant and that was the point he used the word "injection". In the transcript, the two options were presented in separate paragraphs indicating he was talking about two different things.
In English, register of words is important. You don't "inject" UV light into someone in medical parlance. You "beam" UV light. The term "injection" is used for penetration of liquid into the body via a syringe, or similar device. It's like saying you want to inseminate light. How?? Also, the example you quoted was totally irrelevant as it referred to abstract qualities i.e she injected scorn into her voice, CR7 injected some pace into his play, etc This cannot be your support for "injecting" UV light which would have been yet another gaffe.
You know, you can also build credibility when you are man enough to own up to your mistakes and make lemonade out of lemons! So just give it a rest with all these lamely defensive attempts that will make you look extremely dumb which I believe you are not.

No where in Trump's statement did he used"another'.
nextstep: I don't believe the correct word is "injected".
"Bombarded with", or "exposed to", UV light. Unless you're implying that a - UV light is put into "UV syringes" and then injected; or b - tiny tubes are embedded into the skin, and UV light is shone through them
But my understanding of phototherapy is that its use is limited to conditions where the light can reach (e.g. your skin).
If you were referring to photodynamic therapy, here's an explanation from cancer.org
In this second case, you'd need a drug that can combat the virus in the first place (UV activated or not).
Im referring to UV injection which could also be seen as UV bombardment. Below are definitions of injection. Check no 3.
voltron14: Oh hush, Trump knows absolutely nothing about phototherapy and cancers are cells going haywire, so killing the cells may not be a bad idea.
Can you at the same about Covid-19?
Hypocrite.
Uncle Tom.
UV rays kill both bacterias and viruses. So there's a chance they might be effective to kill the Corona virus. How do you know what Trump knows and what he doesn't?
nextstep: He also talked about "disinfectant... by injecting"... which implies a liquid, not light.
When most people hear disinfectant, what comes to mind are the liquids (lysol, bleach, dettol, etc.). That fact prompted manufacturers to issue warnings not to ingest their products.
And anybody who's gone to school would understand that UV is actually quite dangerous. You don't even need to go to school anymore; just google or wiki subject matter - take time to read opposing views; and ask your experts first; before conjecturing or suggesting in a public meeting.
UV kills bacteria and viruses, as well as human cells. Maybe he will blame scientist for publishing "fake science" once more.
Nobody is saying that UV is not dangerous. But that has not stopped it from being used as a form of treatment for cancer.
Trump was merely seeking clarification from the medical experts and reporting what they are trying.
He never asked people to start using UV disinfectant as a Corona virus treatment.
Trump is not a scientist by any stretch of the imagination and should stop commenting on issues beyond his ability.
Just imagine this same statement was made by your own president.
Hypocrite.
You are the hypocrite here. Trump clearly mentioned UV rays , a know disinfectant...and injection. UV rays are injected into the body as a disinfectant during cancer treatment through a process called Phototherapy. Go and read it up and stop sounding dumb.
ajl: That's why phototherapy also lower immunity because it is not specific it can kill beneficial cells as well and thus lower body immunity. Same thing as chemotherapy.
Thats is not what is contention here. People are asking if UV rays can be injected. Like for real? People are really dumb.
If you are smart enough you would have understood that UV rays are injected into the body in phototherapy for treatment of cancer cells using light beams. Or you think it's only liquids that can be injected?
Trump boldly said it was his suggestion and even looked to the side to ask an affirmation from one of his advisers and he continued by saying he was told they were looking into it.
He spoke about the use of ultraviolet light and disinfectant.
It's ok if you disagree with Trump once in a while.
Not AND. UV light as a disinfectant. Read and understand. UV light is a common disinfectant used in hospitals.
There was a guy selling goods online, he advised me on how lucrative the business was and told me I will be ordering shoes from China and resell at a great price here. He told me a site and said he will be the one to do the process.
To cut it short, I gave him 30k for 8 shoes, this guy say them don lockdown and hin don send money before them lockdown. I dey wait small time before i go arrest am.
Yes there's a lockdown. All of our goods are stuck because airports are closed. The guy is most likely saying the truth.
