physika said it all. Also, most of d time, d absolute favorite's odds in soccer ranges between 1.01 to 1.30; dats even lower than tennis. anything above that cant be trusted. 1.3 sef na sly dese days. fickle sport ![]() |
chimajii:you cant blame them, fresh outta TGIF. dem Andy murray, Nadal n d rest for don go turn up. i can picture Djokovic arriving at the venue with Olamide - Turn up blaring out of his speakers man must turn up and l'm no exception, my fan sef is 'turned up' to the highest back to sleep |
Physika:which Nigerian bookie has the highest odds i have done a synchronous comparison of merrybet and 1960bet and 1960 has higher odds in every dept. i fink they had kuznetsov @1.8 |

@FeverRay, You are a very big fool. We are talking about a fire incidence where lots of property were lost and dayosaurus' favorite spot - ibadan's favorite cinema got burnt to ashes and you are advertising your stupid product in such a sympathetic and grievous ambience. Do you not have any iota of intelligence or business acumen? Or doesn't it appear to you that you just created a bad image of yourself and product with your cheap and demeaning advertisement. You need lessons in marketing, better yet, the fundamentals: Use google. Your post just irritates me at this moment when am thinking about how disheartening this incidence would be for the cinema owners and movie lovers. My heart goes out to the Filmhouse workers who would be temporarily displaced, the entire management and ownership of the company, the owners of the mall and any other entity who lost something that day. I hope no lives were lost sha. My heart goes out to movie lovers too. I guess we'd have to storm Ventura mall now |
Mtn has finally and stupidly reduced the data cap on bbc to about 1gig or less. It use to be unlimited about 2 years ago, then they reduced it to 3gig and now 1 gig. I always monitored my downloads to ensure my data does not get exhausted while my subscritption is still on. Some months, I downloaded about three 700mb-sized movies. To even make it better, their bbcday subscription also had the same 3gig so whenever I felt like downloading a lot of things, I get another sim and subscribe bbcday. I tried it yesterday but after the file downloaded 115mb, it got exhausted. To make it worse, I barely downloaded this month with my monthly subscription before it got exhausted. That's a very stupid thing to do. Going from 3gig to about 1gig or maybe even 500mb. Glo still offers 3072mb I think it is a big step back from mtn. Instead of progressing to attract more customers, they are reducing the data cap. I guess they are trying to phase blackberry users out so I would just switch to my android or switch to glo now. So this is where I end my 5yr marriage with mtn. Its so sad |
I am in need of a shoe manufacturer. I design shoes and I am in need of a company who can offer somethinf similar to what is offered by chinese manufacturers |
Google seems to be of little help when it comes to getting information about the shoe industry in Nigeria so am casting my net to nairaland. I want to start a shoe company and I am in need of a lot of information like 1 where to get materials 2 how to get a factory to produce or a group of shoemakers who specialize in shoe production. 3 how to register the company 4 how to make shoe labels 5 how to make logos(pvc, silicon, metallic) Its important to know that I have been producing for a while and I have ideas about all these things but they are not sufficient. If possible, I need links to factories in Aba or factories that can give similar qualities and prices. Thank you |
@1honeybee You are right, that's one of the problems I have with these nija branded shoes.all they care about is just the moni and the quality of the materials. They use don't justify their price. I just hope someone can come and revolutionize the nija shoe market. I can foresee the shoe market taking the same turn the music industry took advancing from the days when eedris abdulkareem was the truth to dem ice prince and ko. All em people giving low quality and inferior stuffs wud soon get overshadowned by the revolution and wud be forced to either improve or quit.I can't wait for that time and I hope I have a hand in it cos am actually sick of the so-called luxury shoes I see around with those extortionate prices and below par quality |
@rick ross.well, those r the ones I know.can u drop some of the names and the links to them oda major shoe designers I nigeria |
@everyone nice one, @loluoline, Nice shoes and website, wud check em out wen dis connection fing gets beta and I fink u guys shud go check him out too www.loluonline.com nice one there bro, So what do u guys av to say bout ruggedman's shoes. |
Shoe Lovers! The Curious Case Of Nija-branded Shoes (terry G, Durella, ruggedman) I don't mean 'made in nigeria' as in made in Aba, what I mean is a shoeline owned by a nigerian and recognised as a brand owned by a nigerian. I was surfing the web and I came across Ruggedman's fashion line 'The 20th September Wear' (T.S.W). He makes ladies shoes, wristwatches, shirts and the likes though, I only got to see pictures of his shoes and I was really impressed by the design and concept behind it except for the fact that people were on about him stealing the design from another fashion designer. The prices were affordable as I read, starting from as low as N5000 for the shoes (correct me if am wrong) as opposed to that of other owned-by-nigerians' shoes.for example, Durella's sneakers which cost N25000! Yes! Nigerians are crazy about getting what is in vogue but I don't think you can get the average fashion freak paying that much for a shoe that is owned by a nigerian and a shoe that doesn't have a recognized brand name.you would get a pair of jay z's sneakers, 50 cent and the game's sneakers for the price of one durella's sneakers. There are also a few other supposed luxury shoes out there, lofas-like with some fancy designs on them like Terry G's shoes which I heard retails for N40,000!!! and also other brand names with the same concept retail for about N15000 to N30,000 My point is, the quality of the so-called luxurious shoes nigerian's own are not any better than those we buy for N5000-N10,000 that have more recognized brand names. And let's assume the design of ruggedman's shoes weren't stolen like people said, would you be crazy about buyin them if they cost between 5-7k? Would you pay N25,000 or N40,000 for a nigerian-owned brand? What if a Nigerian shoe designer comes up with a unique design, can he get you and nigerians crazy about it as much as TOMS, drivers, plimsolls (assuming the price is affordable) Would you prefer the nija-owned brand to have 'made in china' on the label or 'made in nigeria' Please be as realistic as possible with your reply. Below are pictures of the nigerian owned shoelines Ruggedman 1st Durella 2nd Terry G 3rd Jimmy'd shoes 4th

Honestly! This is one of the best things that can happen to my bb cos that main reason I subscribe is to browse even though you will catch me pinging. Because of this bbm distraction thing, I av resorted to subscribin per week, stay off BIS for like 5 days (depriving myself of information online) and then come back cos I can hardly do other things. But now, iI can subscribe my BIS without depriving myself of browsing for days and hopefully the problems stays on for as long as possible. If there was a way to logout of bbm, I would so log out. Stay faulty RIM! |
