You just said sending from $ to ₦. Try getting $ at that rate with your ₦ account, that's when you will see the problem.

The most important thing is interstate travelling. Once it is lifted PTDF can continue their interview if they wish. It is the students resumption that the federal government is trying to avoid. If you go to university environment you will notice that some staff, mostly non-academics, are busy doing their works. I don't think that can stop PTDF from continuing the interview.

I doubt if physical PhD interview can continue until international flights commence. Some PhD candidates are currently out of the country. Unless they choose to use an hybrid system for the interview. But I'm partially disappointed in the way PTDF handled this whole thing communication wise. Turkish government scholarship just sent mail for a physical interview at their embassy in Abuja, so let's be hopeful because things are opening up.

wait you think it is bad because it is filled with indian and chinese? isn't that a little discriminatory? I doubt there's any program in the world that you wouldn't see Nigerians, Indians or Chinese

It's not discriminatory from my perspective. Everyone know the kind of exposure they expect from grad school and I prefer a more diverse class than a class filled with nationals from just two countries.
