Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Do Companies Outsource Their Services? by shakkyboy(m): 4:09pm On May 15, 2016
I want you to know that this is not limited to MTN, it is like that is most Banks. Most Banks staff are on contract and they pay them peanut. 45k, 50k, 60k depending on the bank. Most disheartening part is that they treat people like slaves, u must not use phones, you must not stand up, harassment and intimidation from core staff, no benefits,

No harm in outsourcing but the treatment is so frustrating. I see it as corporate slavery. We should all rise to fight for justice. We can not afford to work as slaves in our father's Land.

NLC is aware of this and they keep mute and expect us to join them fighting for Minimum wages. NASS keeps enriching their pockets and abandoned vital issues like this

May God help us

NYSC / Re: What Next After Nysc? by shakkyboy(m): 7:50pm On Nov 17, 2015
HermajestyQ:
How do I start mini importation?

You can start mini importation from any part of nigeria. You buy goods from china, us, UK and dubai, pay with your debit card, and ship to nigeria.
The cost of shipping through DHL ems etc are too expensive. So we use thirdparty company like chrisvic logistics, st Patrick logistics, nonnykings logistics etc.

You can import things as cheap as N500, N1000 etc.

Hello Graduants,

Congratulations on your graduation. You started and ended successfully, praise to the Almighty God, the creator of heaven and earth. Mind you, it is neither by your power nor your wisdom but by HIS grace.

Let me remind you that you are not the only one that graduated, millions of other graduates out there. It is another struggle for survival.

My candid advise for you; (what next after NYSC?)
It is time for a dream job.
It is time for a good business
It it time for acquiring more skills
It is time for more certification

1.
The available jobs out there is so limited considering the number of graduates. So, you need to package your CV well, make Internet your best friend, familiarise yourself with job aptitude questions.
Do you agree with me that most jobs out there are contract, you can take advantage of that while waiting for the dream job. You can search online for these recruiting firms; ICSL, Viclawrence, workforce, insourcing etc. Though, they exploit and enslave people, but it's better than been idle.

2.
You can as well start a viable business and employ your other colleagues. Study your environment to know the needs of people. Have some time to think and carry out research to know what is acceptable in your neighbourhood. Then invest your savings from the allowance wisely. If you are having difficulties with business to venture into, consider the following;

Mini importation( I can help you with this)
Mini farming
Production (soap, starch, toilet cleaner etc)
Nylon business(research further)

3.
Skills acquisition is key. Learn new things, learn more things, learn to become expert.
Skills like Web designing, computer engineering, phone engineering, graphics, etc can make you stand out.

4.
If your income is enough, you can start a master program, PGD, or relevant professional courses. You don't expect a better result doing things same way, you need to upgrade yourself for better opportunities.

Sky is your starting point.

My name is Adebiyi Abiodun, the CEO shakoted global service. I am an entrepreneur, a career advisor, a speaker, and a banker.

Christeety:
Good Afternoon. Please I'm interested, how do I get the wristband. Pls send me your contact. Thanks

Christeety, you can contact me on shakkyboy at gmail dot com

The bands is almost exhausted and that closes the opportunity. Giving out my manufacturer is like giving out my business because I will be on the search for another manufacturer. So make hay while the sun shines.

Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance.

Sorry, I have been away for so long. It is due to festive business, training and the likes.

I am fully back to complete what we started.

Good news; I have xmas and new year bonus for serious minded ones.
You remember I promised to talk on lapel production. See pictures for both lapel and my xmas gift wristbands bellow.

So, my xmas and new year bonus is this;

I want to give just 5 people my manufacturer of wristbands and lapel. This will stop you from searching online for quotation or manufacturer. This is a trustworthy manufacturer. So many people will teach you but they will never give you the company that produces for them.
I will also send you my 77 pages manual that will teach you step by step how to produce wristbands and lapel pin. Also teaches importation from USA, CHINA and DUBAI.

Condition for giving the first 5 people

Get the new year gift wristband with just 2k. You can sell or give out as gift to kids as new year gifts. It contains 50 pieces. N40 per one.

I bet you, if you can get the gift, you enjoy all the benefits I stated above. So many nairalanders have sent me mails asking me to link them up with my manufacturer and the opportunity is here now.

If you learn all the processes, you can customise lapel for schools, companies, churches or mosques, association etc.

If you want to be part of the first five please contact me or drop your mail here

Wristbands selling for 100naira, i laugh in english, why people too dey like lie nah?, wristbands sell for 50naira and do not sell as fast as u think,
Tell me another lie, u dey sure say no be 8k u be wan write?

I want the thread to be an eye opener to people. I am not interested in criticism or castigation.

I have neva seen wristband sold for N50 before. I stand to be corrected. Simple wristbands start from N100. We have wristbands dat sell N150, 200, and above.

Quality of wristbands differ.

Stop the habit of discouraging people from leaning. After all, I never demand for anybody's money or sell any book. Except if u feel like sharing from my new year bands which is not mandatory.

I shall be talking on lapel as our next topic on this thread. Business is all about ideas. Ideas rule the world.

I say gud night

Let's keep the flag flying

How to get your Bands sold.

There are various ways of selling.
You can get someone to sell in
Churches
Mosques
Streets
Schools

You can as well give vendors that sell things by the road sides.

You can sell online on sites like nairaland, olx, 3al, kaymu etc

The market is always there because is cheap and acceptable even in corporate environment.

Don't underestimate this information. It's really and profitable

If you want to give it a trial and you don't have what it takes to produce directly, I can giv you as low as 100pieces at N60. Den resell at N100 to test the market.

Business is all about action and not procrastination.

Have lovely day

Business / I Made 800k From Wristband This Year by shakkyboy(m): 10:43am On Dec 11, 2014
Hello NAIRALANDERS

If I don’t share this, my conscience will not let me rest because I got the info here on Nairaland and I acted on it

I have made reasonable income  from wristband business.

I am not here to share links, sell e-books etc.
I just wish to assist my fellow Nigerians with genuine information that can earn them reasonable incomes with little or no stress.

This year ending, I made up to N800k on wristband. If you divide that by 12, that is approximately 67k monthly.

You can make more if you are serious. It's very simple and cheap

Let's begin;

We all know what wristband is. What I am here to show you are:

1.         When to produce wristband

2.         How profitable it is

3.         The concepts; (the text and the logo you put the band that sells)

4.         How much does it cost to produce wristbands

5.         Where to produce  customise wristbands

6.         Where and how to get them sold.

WHEN TO PRODUCE

You have to be proactive to succeed in any business you do. Wristbands sell like pure water in Nigeria provided you know the right concept and the appropriate time to introduce it to the market.

Wristbands can be categorised into two
Seasonal and non-seasonal wristbands

SEASONAL; these type of wristbands have seasons that they sell. Examples are
New Year
Valentine
Easter
E-ldlfitr(itunu awe)
E-ldlkabir(ileya)
Lailatul kadri
Christmas etc

Non seasonal
These type of wristbands can be produced and introduced to the market anytime. Mind you, your target market is restricted to certain group of people. E.g Christians, Muslims, football fans etc
EXAMPLES
Football club. Eg Chelsea, arsenal etc
Churches e.g Redeem, winners etc
Associations e.g Nasfat, Quareeb etc
Schools e.g high institutions, primary schools etc

You can as well research more on the seasonal and non-seasonal wristbands and their respective seasons.

LETS CONSIDER THE PROFITABILITY

The cheapest Unit price of wristband in Nigeria is N100 (I stand to be corrected)
There are bands that sell, N150, N200.

Cost of producing and shipping a unit is N30 and above. Depends on your negotiation with the manufacturer

Now, let assumes u produce 2000units for NEW YEAR
2000 x 30 = N60,000

If you sell N100x 2000 = N200,000
Automatically u have made profit of N140,000
You can make more depending on units sold.

If this is what you do for 2 or 3 months, I think its better than some slavery jobs called contract jobs that doesn’t give you freedom.

NOW to the third lecture but before then, I want to know if I am not in the house alone.

Just show interest by dropping comments so I can fire on at least 10 people. I  assure you, no strings is attached to this and you will smile at last.
