I'm not familiar with the scenario you described, you might have to contact the embassy and ask them.

I am asking for a uncle who doesn't know his way around and I am not familiar with his situation.

He has gotten a confirmation but a mistake was made in his appointment date. His visa fee ID was used for someone else by mistake. But a mail was sent to the embassy to cancel the appointment he is worried if it worked because a confirmation of cancelled appointment hasn't been sent.

OK, if you still don't understand let me make it clearer. If I made a mistake in filling my appointment date but I used someone else's visa fee ID (the number that comes with the visa receipt) am I safe if I go along with it or should I cancel? And if I cancel can I still re-apply?

Tnx for replying another thing is that there was a mistake when he was trying to get an appointment date. The agent he used made a mistake by using his visa fee digits for another person. But it was later cancelled.

The problem is he hasn't gotten a mail yet to confirm the cancellation and please how many times can one cancel an appointment before the visa becomes invalid. Thanks in advance
