Although I currently use a symbian device.
I'm planning on getting a droid in the near
future. I have heard from peeps using
android that the platform gulps data a lot.
As bad as 100mb in less than a week without
much downloads. For those using androids
here.
How has been your experience with data?
How many megabytes do u use on the
average in a month??
Do u think android is worth is considering
the data gulping issues? Or u re better off
with symbian?
Are there apps to stop the data gulping
problem?

on the average how many mb data is sufficient for a month on android? I heard it gulps data a lot and 100mb is just 3days!

You need a smartphone, am in ado, i might advice you on what you need if you care

@eesu, glo data plans works with gloflat settings only so thats wat you can use on modems, and if you dont subscribe gloflat apn wouldnt work on your line,

Right now am posting wit mtn unlimited free data, aside from calls thats d only thing i use them for, my 5year old romance with mtn ended early this year, etisalat has been giving me far better value! 2days ago it rained and i didnt ve network on etisalat, i wanted to call but i had to wait and load till i can get thru value for my hard earned money rather than waste on mtn, am only for number portability before i port my number to glo or airtel!

If you were to be in my shoes, which would you choose between nokia c5( s60v3, 3.5G, 3Mp camera, 2.2"screen, no wifi, GPS) and nokia x3-02( s40, 3.5G, 5Mp camera, 2.4"touchscreen, wifi enabled), They are about thesame price in the market, Now do i sacrifice better phones features for an OS or what?

@aieromon, Maybe u dnt knw wat and nHD resolution means, 340*600 on a 4inch screen is wierd! Images and videos will lose quality with a lot of distortion,

Nokia c3 is 23k? Doubt it, C5 is 24k and its a smartphone with 3.5g, C3 is just a feature phone, Its cant be that expensive.

Maybe you guys didnt read the specs well, Nokia is still sleeping, Infact, they are half-dead, They just put a nHD resolution in a 4inch screen, Thats too too poor, Check out samsung galaxy S and iphone 4, They ve have far better resolution!
