Please what is the current % duty for clearing cars, is it 35% now or 70%, when will it be in effect?
However, please what's the cost of clearing the below cars:
Before i list, please what matters most in clearing a car

Year of manufacture?
Value of the car?
The shipping line?
Engine Size?
OR? WHAT

(1) Toyota Corolla 2006 model
(2) Toyota Avensis 2005 & 2006 model
(3) Toyota Yaris 2008 model
(4) Nissan Serena Bus 2006 model
(5) Volkswagen Golf 2003 model

Current Clearing Rate is 35%, 70% has been postponed till April 30th of this year.

Year of manufacture is the most important index Nigeria Customs uses. They attach a range value to each year depending on the make & model of the vehicle which according to them has different capacity - 'Engine Size'. It's a common knowledge that Mercedes are 'German Machine', thus, this and others like lexus, Peugeot, BMW, and others luxury vehicles like Range, Buggatti, Porche, etc have different duties aCcording to their year of manufacturing.
