The National Youth Service Corps member, Mr Toriseju Lodge who was shot dead at Oghara in Delta State by a suspected cultist in front of his apartment (see HERE) has been laid to rest amid tears. The Youth Corper who was serving in Imo State was said to have return to his rented apartment in Oghara, where he has been staying as a student of Western Delta before passing out to celebrate Easter with friends when the gunman who was said to be wearing a mask, struck -shooting him multiple times.

The corpse was decorated with NYSC corpers uniform as his fellow corpers reportedly refused to take refreshments due to the sad way the the young man died.

Ahmadu Chanchangi Is Dead (Chanchangi Airlines Chairman) by lalasticlala ( m): 11:23am The Chairman of Chanchangi Airlines, Amadu Chanchangi, is dead. The Taraba-born, Kaduna-based billionaire died along Kaduna-Abuja road while on the way to a hospital in Abuja on Wednesday morning. “He died along the road while we were rushing him to a hospital in Abuja, after a protractive illness,” a family source confirmed to our reporter. He is believed to be survived by three wives and about 33 children, among whom is Rufai Chanchangi, a member of the House of representative. “He will be buried by 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) according to Islamic right at the Bashama road cemetery,” another family source added. Among early sympathisers at the Chachangi home was Bala Ibn Na’Allah, the deputy Senate leader, and Mohammed Ali, a former member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

I don't like to talk on the matters of havoc story and treat to Nigeria democracy. the Dino's certificate saga and Hameed's uniform intrigued by the senates.
the recent trending and speculated news going round the country about the key icon senator milaye on fake certificate and hameed Ali's refusal to appear before senates in uniform have unanimously becomes the topic of discussion among nigerians , particularly youths.
we should not border ourselves with this kind talk that at the end will benefitted us with nothing, rather than aching pain. instead why are we not keep trending about current hardship? .

I feel quite happy and appreciated over the 3 weeks experiences gained from the NYSC orientation camp obubra cross river state. although the camp life is strict and regimented but alot of funs and remarkable activities are to shared for live long.
the moral goes High and level of fitness is also increase through drills, parade, man owar activities and saed lectures which in turn equipped us to be in high spirit always.
the main problems that one will experience in the camp is poor and in adequate water, bad network, mosquitoes, unfitted soil, extreme heat. oh ..... guys forget ooooo. don't be discouraged by the challenges faced in the camp and thought the remaining part of cross river to be like that ooooo, cross river is sweet.

Education should be giving top most priority as the only way to end extreme poverty and hunger in northern Nigeria. going by the careful investigation majority of poor and illiterate people in the north suffer much in the current economic beagout and if training and skill acquisition program is not drawn and implemented the situation will deteriorates longer and the consequences will be wider than this.

A Dangote trailer collided with several cars along the Asaba-Onitsha expressway and went up in flames this afternoon in Asaba. Many people are feared dead in the accident. Fire service was able to control the fire but the accident is causing serious traffic gridlock coupled with the long line at a close NNPC station due to fuel scarcity

At least five people have been killed in a clash between Yoruba and Hausa traders in the Sabo area of Ile-Ife in Osun state.

A resident of the ancient city told TheCable that the situation started on Tuesday, but escalated on Wednesday morning.

Adeyeye Ogunwusi, ooni of Ife, reportedly intervened through seeking the assistance of security operatives.

The security agents deployed in the town were said to have foiled an attempt of aggrieved Yoruba residents to gain access into Sabo community, which is predominantly occupied by Hausa people.

The angry mob then stormed Lagere, a neighbouring community, and attacked Hausa traders there.

A witness said security agents found it difficult to control the rampaging mob.

Many have fled Ife as a result of the crisis, which has also led to the destruction of property worth millions of naira.

Some of the persons who sustained injuries have been taken to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH) for medical attention.

The cause of the clash is not yet known.
