Lol. Chinese custom officials arrested a man who tried to smuggle 94 iPhones from Hong Kong into China today Jan. 13th. According to Chinese People Daily, officials decided to search the man after they got a tip-off that there was something amiss when they noticed he was walking strangely. They first searched his bag and when they found nothing, they searched his body where they found the 94 phones strapped to his body.

The man whose identity was hidden, was bringing in the phones from Hong Kong where it's cheaper to buy to sell in China where tax on the devices have made it very expensive for consumers. See more photos here

Earlier on today, several members of the House of Representatives had to scale locked gates to gain access to the National Assembly complex in Abuja after they were stopped by security agents. Some 1000 soldiers and policemen had sealed the entrance of the National Assembly and physically prevented the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal, from entering, thereby throwing the complex into chaos. At least 15 members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, had to scale the gates. Tambuwal, some House of Rep members were teargassed. Senate President David Mark eventually had to shut the Assembly down till Nov 25th, next week Tuesday.

A fuel tanker a few hours ago fell right in front of Chevron Drive in Lekki...spilling its content...very dangerous! Cars had to be directed to take the other side of the road. The accident has caused serious traffic in that area. The fire service have since arrived though..

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr Aderinle Shinaba, has said six persons were killed in Friday’s bomb explosions in Kano.Shinaba said in Kano on Saturday that the bomb explosion at Magarsiku Filling Station at Hotoro in Kano, occurred when a suicide bomber went into the petrol station pretending to be buying petrol,.
According to him, immediately the hoodlum entered the petrol station, he detonated the bomb which was hidden inside his car.
He added that two vehicles were completely burnt, while two others were damaged.
The commissioner said the injured persons had since been taken to the hospital for treatment.
