Crime / Re: Sugabelly Alleged Rape: A Pure Case Of Blackmail, Intimidation And Lies by shenaitim(m): 7:37am On Nov 28, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
N/B: Read The Article Before Commenting.

I have been following the story between Miss aka Sugabelly and Mustapha Audu, the son of the late Chief Abubakar Audu. I have watched the reaction of people especially madam Oby Ezekwesili and Hon Abike Dabiri, and I must say that their position on this matter is illogical, embarrassing and unfair to Mustapha Audu and humanity. Let us look at the issue @ hand.

THE MAJOR LIES IN @Sugarbelly's ALLEGATION:
Lie Number One: Audu Abubakar Was Not The Governor As At 2007/8:

Firstly, the so called accuser @Sugabelly alleged that the late Audu Abubakar condoned the 'ficticious' rape just because he was the Governor of Kogi state. This is very far from the truth because Audu Abubakar was elected Governor in 1998, and served between 1999 and May 29, 2003 when he was defeated by Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who served from 2003 to 2011. He couldn't have used the office of Governor to condone rape when he wasn't the Governor then. In fact, he never ascended to the office after 2003 till his unfortunate demise.

Lie Number 2: False Claim of Friends Gang rape:
I had to read the email exchange between miss Sugabelly and Mustapha, on this said FB message, she was the one apologising to Mustapha Audu for FLIRTING with Audu's friend. From the tone of the message, one will see that Mustapha was the jealous type that got angry because Sugabelly was flirting with his friend. (See paragraph two of the screenshot)

So where does the gang rape story come from? How can a jealous BF allow his friends to have canal knowledge of his GF?

Lie Number 3: False Claim of Rape:
In one of the mails @Sugabelly sent to Mustapha, she was recounting their "sweet memories" and when you look at one of their memories, you will see that both of them had consensual romp and sex. In fact, she was excited recalling some hot memories...

She even talked about their crazy street sex that they had everynight at different streets...

See what she said after their first sex...

@Sugabelly's Mum Was Aware of The Relationship:
While many erroneously assumed that Mustapha Audu took advantage of the Sugabelly of a character, the truth is that her mother was very much aware of their relationship. In the mail sent to Mustapha by Sugabelly, she made reference of her mom not being happy with Mustapha. Pls see...

Pray tell, was this a relationship or rape?

Mustapha DUMPED Her Because He Didn't Trust Her:
From one of her plea email for a comeback to Mustapha, the so-called rape victim even admitted that Mustapha didn't trust her, and was trying to appeal to his emotion for his trust. Maybe he was right not trusting her with her baseless allegation

Please, does relationship turn sour equate rape? Why victimise an innocent man that is mourning his father?

Concluding...
I put it to @Sugabelly that she was never raped but only trying to blackmail a man that she once loved after all her plea for a comeback failed.

I put it to Madam Oby Ezekwesilli and Hon Abike Dabiri that they are embarrassing to the HIGHEST order for taking a position without a holistic probe of the event. I put it to Oby that she's an hypocrite raised to power ten for knowing the truth and concealing it in order to blackmail an innocent man that is mourning the death of his father just because she's a friend to @Sugabelly's mother.

I am proud and happy to take the time and pains to put this up for the cause of defending an innocent man.

For the record, I wasn't paid nor hired to do this. My love for justice motivated me.

May God Bless All Sincere Nigerians and Lovers of Humanity

Hehe...oga Barcanista again!
Well, I don't need any analytical breakdown to see that this story has alot of porous holes. How can she call it "rape" if she keeps going back for more? How can she call it "taking advantage" when it's clear from her emails that she holds them as "sweet memories"? Weldone Barcanista! Thats for the efforts you have just put in the your quest to relevance. I hope you are not taking this stand cos abike and obi are in the sympathetic?!

But the law however gave a provision for one man's vote to be transferred to another man right Even when the election is yet to be concluded.
Please the vote is for the candidate not the party forget the fact that we the underdeveloped world take political party to mean something else.

Kindly open the link below but don't bother to read everything just scroll to the last five lines and so you can understand that the vote is actually for the candidate.

https://www.nairaland.com/2763168/kogi-poll-pdp-weighs-options

I read the whole thing. The portion you said I should concentrate on is nothing but an opinion of one individual. I feel our laws are higher than our opinions. So you want a fresh election, Knowing the time frame and all? Or you prefer Wada to be declared as being the only living candidate with the highest votes? I see your point though. But the only way it can be adopted as a national practice is if you write to the Senate and push for an amendment.

If the vote is for the party then the party should have the right to withdraw it mandate from a sitting Governor or perhaps they can be switching the candidates monthly...
Also it should be possible to conduct a general election before the primaries since the vote is for the party and not the candidate. i.e after the general election then any party that emerges the winner can then conduct it primaries

Our laws don't give such provisions .If it did, maybe that would have been the case. But it's not. Wishful thinking isn't enough for hypothesis.

The INEC is a disappointment to moral justice for saying the All Progressive Congress APC should conduct a fresh primary to present a candidate as it flag bearer.

The big question here is, when an individual votes, who is he /she voting for? Is it the party or the candidate (personality)? This is because from my own point of view, the party is more or less like the football Jersey which is merely worn to differentiate a player of one team from the other, to enable the referee carry out his job effectively and for the players on the pitch to differentiate between a team mate and an opponent
This is because;

1. When an individual votes, he/she votes for a candidate and not the party.
2. Voting for a candidate means voting for the candidates personality.
3. It will be considered injustice at optimum height if the votes which were casted for late prince ABUBAKAR AUDU (i.e his personality) of The APC is transferred to another man.

Finally, if INEC proves that it is the party that votes are being casted for, then it's good enough to conduct a general election before the primaries. i.e after the general election then any party that emerges the winner will then present any candidate of their choice.

By the virtue of the points above , if a new primary election should be carried out by the APC, then a new general election must also be repeated.

No candidate should be imposed on the entire public whose interest must be of utmost importance.
If both parties believes that the candidates they would be presenting to the public is good enough, then the public is always ready to do their work which is to vote for their interest.
Just saying though, comments are allowed.

Hmmm...
Well I heard some arguments between some lawyers about this issue and I must say it's quite complex.
First off. One argument stands- the Nigerian constitution doesn't make any provision for individual candidature. This mean voting is primarily to party. That's why even the ballot paper doesn't carry the names of individual but of parties. So when we votes, we vote for party BECAUSE of the individual, not vice versa. So...using your analogy of football, what happens when a player is injured or can't play anymore ?HE IS SUBSTITUTED! I believe this is the road INEC is towing.
On the other hand, I argue that if one votes for party not individual, thereby implying that the victory and the consequent running of the office is primarily by the ruling party ,why doesn't the power remain with the party in an event when the individual decamps?
Please any lawyer in the house to help out?

Uniben4sure:
It is a known fact that the ikwerre people of rivers state have always denied being Igbo when the going is good. But when going into a contest against the riverine communities in rivers state, they quickly claim Igbo so as to gain the support of SE Igbo's in rivers state.

The continued denial of Igbo's by the ikwerres has always ridiculed the Igbo's in the face of the other two major tribes in Nigeria.

So, this is post is meant to advise my Igbo brethren in rivers not to vote for Wike in the imminent rivers guber rerun. Let's stop giving ikwerres undeserved support while they keep denying us.

Eke nee m unu!
Shame!
Bigots like you deserve nothing short of a powerful deliverance.
