U're invited for a written test for the position of DSO, @ Jorgor Center, Liberty Road, Ibadan, on 22/07/16 by 10:00am. U are in Batch B, come along with a copy of ur CV. This is strictly by invitation. |
@ginger, thanks! I got d invite too for d aptitude test, but i didn't attend. I am hoping for another shortlisted invite soonest. I can see dat u've been invited for d second stage, i am so happy for u ooo... Best of Luck! |
@ginger, i pity u ooo... From Benin? Infact, there was a guy that came from Niger state. Some guys also came from Kwara state, Lagos state, Ekiti State and Kogi state. I actually live in Ibadan, and went to IBEDC hqtrs last week to confirm why we were yet to be re-called. The lady that attended to me said, the management is not saying anything about the recruitment again, that it has been cancelled. I was so furious, why wasting our time, energy, and money when they are not ready to recruit. Imagine those that came from far distance states, they all risked their lives to come down to Ibadan. Na wa for this country o. |
@olasbestonic, i don't think u were among us, May be u didn't get me well. We went for an aptitude test in March 22nd, 2016. But after 5 minutes we've started d test, we were asked to stop, that they got info that there was security threat on us. Therefore, they cancelled the test and they promised to call us back in a week time. But up till now, no invitation. I went to IBEDC Headquarters to confirm what's happening, i was told dat the recruitment has been cancelled. |
If you're among those that went for the cancelled aptitude test in March 2016, kindly be informed that the whole recruitment has been cancelled o. Don't wait for any invitation msg again. I was at IBEDC headquarters today, the recruiment has been cancelled. I pity those that came from far distance states for the test. |
BSC & HND- 32yrs. Others- 30yrs. |
@teekem, i've been pulling ur legs all dis while. It is good to start from somewhere, the problem i have now is that i don't want to relocate to Abeokuta because of contract job. Supposing they can give me a permanent appointment, i am ready to relocate to any south west state. It is not the salary that really matters but how secured the job is, if the salary is small and the job is secured, it is better than big salary job with no security. I have sent msg to the employer to attach me to ibadan training centre, if my request is granted, i'll surely go for the job. @teekem, have you started working as call centre agent at Ilorin? |
50k? Lol! Olobe ni e @teekem. 35k to start, 40 after 3months, 45k after 6months. All the same, it is manageable. But the job is not secured, don't rely on it pls. |
@DMcool, don't sound ash at me pls. I know what i worth, my God never promised me such Job and i know and beleive that he'll provide me my choice job soonest. Some people can never progress in life because they av limited themselves to a certain level. That this country is facing high rate of unemployment doesn't mean i can not get my desired job, it doesn't mean that i should go for any job i see. I'll rather go and learn a handiwork instead of a 35k salary contract (A year) job. Thank you! |
@teekem, I can never perform well. U want to know why? It is not possible for me to be collecting the same salary with NCE & OND certificate holder and be expecting me to put my best. Never!!! Moreover, don't let them deceive u o, there is nothing like 'renewable'. After A YEAR, ur work as call centre agent is over. Almost 1,000 persons have been employed in Ibadan alone. Tell me how MTN can employ such number of employees as call centre agent in Ibadan alone. They just want to use u guys to boost their business and lay u off after A YEAR. Half bread is ok than nothing though, and like u said, u can be searching for another job while still managing the call centre agent job. Best of luck! |
@teekem, i undertand wot u're saying. But are u aware that this job is a "A year contract job"? After A year, most of you guys will be laid off. How could u now expect me to relocate to Abeokuta because of such job? I'll rather be eating my soaked garri at home. |
@teekem, thanks alot. It is 12days training (i just confirmed it now), which means i can't attend the training. I live at ibadan and i know nobody to stay with at Abeokuta. I can't be risking my life on our bad roads for good 12days because of A year contract job. |
@teekem, thanks for ur response. But i still need more explanations pls. Are we going to be marketing MTN products and services to Nigerians? Or we will be receiving calls from customers like that of Customer care rep? Pls, what will be our main job? I mean Our practical job. |
Actually, i applied for customer care rep, but i am now asked to come for "MTN product" training in which i don't know what "MTN product" job is all about. |
I applied at Ibadan not Abeokuta, i've applied since August. I went thru oral interview twice and online Test twice. |
Pls friends, i got an invitation from ISON HR. I was invited for MTN product Training at Olusegun Obasanjo Tower at Abeokuta on Monday, 4th of Jan 2016. Time: 7am. Medical will be done before training. Pls, how many days will the training take? Becuase i live at Ibadan and i know nobody to stay with at Abeokuta. What will be the job of the applicants that attended the training? i mean which JOB will be allocated to us after training? I need ur contributions pls. |
