Elo's undying love for Ikechukwu knew no bounds. He was her Prince Charming, her Knight in shining armour and the man of her dreams. He was her life-long desire.

Hope I can crave your indulgence on a matter bothering me?
I have recently completed my literal work in July of this year. I consider it what will give me the break out that I crave for in the world of novels and scriptwriters.
I lost the first book I wrote when my phone was taken away some two years ago. I came back and had to start all over writing the manuscript with pen and papers. Some scenes changed, but I hope they changed for the better. I still miss the previous lost version. I could remember 90% of the contents of that work, so the ideas kept flowing out as I put my ink to paper.

Now, I have been going through posts in this section of NL, and I arrived at your profile. I need your help , honestly.
I have no experience with editing and publishing. I only have creative writing ability.

I want to showcase my book to the world soon, oooooh. And, I want to earn from it's sales , offline or online, or both. I even have dreams of getting the manuscript to fall into the laps of a seasoned Hollywood producer, as if by magic or divine intervention. I want them to make it into a movie. I believe in it.

How can you be of help in the above mentioned regard?
I'm just a guy with talent but no way to get it out there to be noticed by all and sundry.
If you have the know-how and the resourcefulness to undertake this baby project, then we could both reach an agreement on how to share the rights and co-ownership of this work.
I just have this faith in you after reading some reviews of other viewers on this and other threads in literature section.

I am glad that you were able to rewrite your lost work.

Changing scenes while writing happens most of the time... there are times that some of my characters who I intended to kill/have a bad end, etc plead their cases (in my imaginative mind) and I rewrite the stories on their behalf... lol

As per putting your book on the world map, that's a job for God and your own efforts.

You pray, then you market your book offline and online. In due time and season, you will reap the fruits of your labour.

Look at J.K Rowlings, she has been writing like forever... and one day, someone somewhere decided to use one of her books for a movie and it became a mega success... nah so she blew!

I pray that, that will be your portion in Jesus name.

I don't know those big guns (hollywood etc) yet... nevertheless... we will all meet at the top *hugs&kisses*

okadabooks.com is also a self publishing site like amazon... but owned by a Nigerian.

How do I do the formatting and cover design?, ISBN registration et al?

If you're self publishing on Amazon, okadabooks.com etc, you don't need ISBN, but if you are printing a paperback, you need ISBN.

For formatting and cover design, you need a graphic designer

Registration is free.

I really wish you could give me a few tips on how to right a story. Especially how to develop it and plan for the end from the start?.. like, do you already know how the story will end.. Just a few tips please

1. Most times, you know how the story will end. But, sometimes, you might decide to change the story ending all by yourself, for different reasons.

2. Writing a story sometimes begin with your imagination... imagine the story you want to write, from the beginning to the end... like you're watching a movie.

3. Summarise the story in your jotter, notebook, phone or laptop... just a few sentences, the beginning of the story, the middle of the story and the end of the story.

4. Create your main characters... looks, age, job status, mannerism etc... know everything about them and jot it down...

5. Take a deep breath and start to write your story... chapter by chapter.

6. Take your time, don't rush it... when you run out of ideas... go back to your imaginations...

7. Once you're done, read everything you have written, make corrections wherever needed, etc

8. Self-publish on okadabooks.com etc

9. You cannot be too scared to write. You've just got to start from somewhere.

oh okay but i must commend u. U are such a great writer,there's always a lesson to be learnt. I'm halfway in Beauty and the mechanic i must it's breathtaking. Remember crying while reading where she was defiled. Thanks alot for ur beautiful stories they are indeed wonderful and priceless pieces and a great contribution to the society.
