Over the years the music industry has witness how the label have been trying to pave way for up and coming signed acts like Davolee, Limerick, Lyta.

Dear Olamide, I am writing this letter to you on behalf of myself and the Fastrising Artists Association Of Nigeria.
YBNL used to be the biggest music label in Nigeria that most artiste's pray they get signed to. Almost all artist's pray to be signed to Ybnl. Why ?
1. YBNl used to be a label that have its artist's back, once you are signed to YBNL you are signed, nobody or No group dare try rubbish with you, because they know Olamide will pull a kanye on them.
2. YBNl then was a label that signed artiste's because they are good and not because of connection.
3. Most artist's want to be YBNl because it's a label that puts in more effort for its artists in terms of promotion & spending for artist's.
4. It's a label that hopes for the best for their artists, YBNL sign you between 2 years and the goal is after the deal you should own a label too and be on your own.
But these days, nobody is praying to be signed to YBNL again. Most guys will turn down a deal with YBNL.
People that got signed to YBNL recently aren't getting it, Lack of management , lack of PR , No music release and many more. Signing a YBNL deal is like agreeing to let go your Talent.. Olamide why ?
Please Something has to be done, yes you love helping and that's why you are signing artists but if you are too busy to run it kindly Employ people to run it badoo.

Nigerian's Worship Their Celebrities Like gods.

Its so disheartening to say this, Nigerians overdo things and i mean it. Yes we all can be a fan of someone but that doesn't say we should be brainwashed, those celebs have nothing to loose no matter what but you are the one at risk.
Over the years, we have seen the way nigerians especially females act whenever they see a celebrity.
We have seen some cases of female fans passing out during a performance of artiste, some beg them publicly for a night stand (sex) , wanting to be a baby mama of a celebrity , keep Dm'ing a celeb for sex, why ? These are childish and doesn't make a sense. You can like a celebrity but that doesn't say you should loose your senses , your pride , your humor.
Now back to the issue, i watched a clip from the #NaijaMeetsGhana and i was so sad, wizkid was performing and a group of ladies were fighting themselves over who should rock him (wizkid), in a show that was livestreamed , reported live on top Tv stations, Had alot of dignitaries present. It isn't right and is uncalled for.
Heard of an issue of wizkid coming to perform at Oou and while performing, he took a lady in the crowd and danced with her, dont forget her boyfriend was there standing and while she was dancing with wizkid her boyfriend held her bag. After the performance she collected her bag from her boyfriend and left with wizkid ����. Its very very bad.
Now anything that might have happened that night was just for that day, after then i am sure she wasn't gonna see him again. Now will she go back to the boyfriend ?
There are a lot of other stories too but to cut the matter short, these things don't happen in other countries, it only happens in Nigeria.
And this isn't about Wizkid alone but All of our Nigeria Celebrities.
It should stop please and amidst all the rubbish, we still have the decent ladies, �.
Stay decent, there are a lot of gains in being Decent. Thanks

Call the Zlatan Saga a hype for myself or anything, I care not but this is an Open letter to Zlatan.

I see you (Zlatan) have your own fans here and they will support you for anything you do, but I won't because I don't do it, if it were anyone of them , I will surely call them out.
We all get bleeped up, offended and failed but who are we to fight back, segun wire's family disrespected you, yes and you got angry, you should be curios ( an adage says A Dog that play with one before but starts backing now has a reason) you should call them and settle things and not keeping a fight.
I believe the greatest revenge in life is being successful and you got that man. Segun helped you or you helped him, anyways; but leaving him all alone is very bad. I can swear on my Unborn kids, I wasn't given a dime for the call out. I saw one of his pics and I felt sad. He isn't the segun wire of that time, looking unkept.
I am pleading you all to tell zlatan to give the boy his account back, he's not the owner yes, but his name was used to build it.
Zlatan should know the more the boy goes, the more he also goes.
Emmanuella was featured in Disney studios, she never got the fame alone but Mark Angel Comedy as a whole got it. He should settle with the boy and let peace reign.
According to my findings, the boy is still in school because the money that was Paid to his school isnt due yet (but its expiring this term), what will happen after ? He will be sent home and what �.
Zlatan & the boy aren't gaining anything with the fight but are loosing a lot of things.
And as your mentor would say, We rise by lifting others. Put that into consideration. As I am feeling bad for the kid so are a lot of others but they are afraid to talk because they are your fans, but I can talk, I am a fan too but a Critic. So please Zlatan let peace reign...

It has been brought to my awareness of a Fake news circulating on the internet about davido owing someone 60M. Its a fake news. Kindly disregard it
They keep hating Davido and that's very bad, back to back they brought his name into some cases which later came out to be false.
From Tagbo's death case, to saying he used Dj Olu and the other guy to win the 2 MTV Ema's, to saying he was gifting his team boys because he was using them. Fast forward to 2018 they said he was a Cultist, he was involved in a cult clash which led to the death of one Romeo, and he's a friend of a yahoo boy, 606 motors. Someone can't make friends in peace again, and how come someone who owns a Car dealing company is a yahoo boy ?
Now its that he's owing someone 60M and the person helped Davido & Bred, so pathetic �.
You know the funniest part, as they keep saying rubbish about him, he keeps on Going places. He signed a 350M deal with Infinix, so paying a 60M debt is s problem ?
"Grow up and come up with a professional lie and not this ish", no proof nothing.
Don't mind them please, We are team Davido. We rise by Lifting Others.....

Noble Igwe and Most Of Nigeria Bloggers Have No Say About Yahoo

Yesterday Noble igwe took to twitter to start talking about Yahoo, I didn't even attack him but he took it personal. Yes he's right but I think its late to start addressing the issue.
Noble igwe and most of Nigeria top bloggers have always been supporting them. Almost everyday one or two of these Yahoo boys are been featured on our Top Blogs.
Even media houses interview these sane yahoo boys, some during events and some they go to their house to interview them.
Even our Artistes now sing and hail them, some even record a full song hailing these people. Most Hits songs today have one or two Yahoo boys mentioned.
Lastly, most of these Yahoo boys are widely known and even have online presence than our Artistes, some have X2 of Our B-List Artistes social media followers.
So you can now see how big they have become. Its not what can be thrashed in a day, its going to requires a big process and not coming to social media to rant. Thanks...

Prince Abidogun Goes Against Ayo Animasahun's Saying The Grammy Award Isn't For Nigerians.

Ohhh let me just say I don't agree at all and I wont say he said that to boost his award (Hell No, we all know The Headies Award is the biggest Award in Nigeria).
He's kind of right if he had said He doesn't see any Nigeria artiste winning any Grammy Award in the Next 15-20 years. Yes or even more.
Its not a curse or any act of ridiculing Nigeria artiste. Its just the main truth.
Let's go deep into it, Do we know the criteria in which songs are nominated 1qa the Grammy ? No !!. We just drop song and we wait for the Grammy Organizers to come pick and nominate it. Lol
Like the Headies award have the criteria they use in nominating people so does Other awards too have theirs.
So back to what Mr Animashaun said, its a NO, Nigeria music has gone beyond how he used to see it, American artistes are now featuring us. We now produce artistes that does global hits, our artistes are now getting recognition in Other non Africa countries, Davido , Wizkid & Olamide and a lot of others are good examples, Wizkid was invited to Cochella , Davido won The best worldwide act at the MTV Ema , Wizkid beating the likes of Jay Z , Cardi B , Dj Khaled , Drake and others to win Mobo Award best international act. So what made him think if Nigerians got nominated they won't win ?.
And lastly, we Nigerians are overrating The Grammy Award. If we all can support our Awards, the Americans too Will be Hoping they get nominated in our awards too.
And Nigeria Award Organizers should Behind Up their awards..
(We all hoping Headies Award won't Bleep up tonight !!!)

It's no joke or play, as s matter of fact Nigeria biggest artists right bow are Davido & Wizkid, then others follow. Over the years, these two artists have been controversial, throwing shots at one another on social media, throwing shots via their songs but few months back, they both settled and they on good terns now.
But after the fight, its been hard for wizkid to trend, don't get me wrong; I didn't say he stopped being relevant but he's not been the talk of the town for a while, he's doing his thing but unlike last year, almost everyday we talk about Wizkid & Davido.
But Davido on the other band has always been trending almost everyday, How & Why ?
Davido is a real businessman, he understand the music business and knows what it takes to make a trend. Let's talk about his last trend Assurance, he made the Video hit a million plus in 24hours, made his girlfriend Chioma Instagram account rose from 20k followers to 146k to 2 days, got her a 100M endorsement deal and many other things to come.
You see davido is a business minded person and he doesn't need anybody to trend or make hits..

Dagrin wasn't a legend before he died (Rip). He was just a cool rapper that was really respected in Nigeria. He
was a rapper the country could boast of because he was doing rap quite alright, but he did it at his own best which made him won the heart of many. But after his demise, I think he's being over hyped. Some said if he was alive, Olamide won't have blown (really? ). Olamide would blow & might even be bigger than him. This is music and anything can happen. (Take Psquare for example , after the split we were expecting Mr P to flop but he's topping) so you don't decide. Olamide blew up when we have other big rappers. Now people like Poe , Blaqbonez , AQ are also making waves where we still have other big rappers. So please let's know what we are doing.

The only way you can blow up as an upcoming artiste is to Rebrand yourself.

Don't be so loose on social medias, talk when you are to talk and don't where you are not to talk, you might be broke but form a lot online , don't let people deceive you, once you start getting huge likes online, you are becoming a star.. Likes count.
Don't take pictures with small phones or in dirty places... Take in hotels , bars , in front of peoples cars' . package yourself and people will package you. Charge people for featuring , if they can't pay tell them you can't... After some begging take his price... Anybody wants to calk you, give them a friends number, tell them they should speak with the person that he's your manager...
A lot of guys here just do packaging but they are broke, I won't mention names because none of them has ever crossed my path....
