Hello Gazuzz, thanks for the good job you re doing here. Please my Lexus RX 300 1999 v6 overheated and had a burnt gasket, after the gasket was replaced, the engine was loosing power especially when idling and will eventually go off. My mechanic later said the cylinder head for one side of the engine is bad and got a tokunbo to replace it.
After replacement, the engine performance improved but I observed that the car doesn't accelerate quickly from stop and jerks when accelerating, then the check engine light will be blinking.
Please what could be responsible, and what can be done to resolve it. The mechanic advised I change the engine.
