Politics / Re: Ihedioha: PDP Is The Only Alternative, Anybody Standing Elsewhere Is A Saboteur by Sheyzman(m): 4:41pm On Sep 27, 2022
Kasssandra:

To face a national assembly filled with PDP and APC members who will frustrate the hell out of him till he joins either one of their parties.

Presidents don't work in a vaccum. If you are shouting vote Peter Obi, without also working for the victory of Labour Party in the senate, house of reps and governorship as well as state assemblies, you might as well be wasting your vote.

That is how Balarable Musa, governor of old Kaduna state and PRP man, thought he could run the state with NPN members. Till they showed him pepper....

Obi has dealt with a hostile legislature before, when he was governor.
He will navigate around a hostile national assembly too.

US army are useless, it's over a month that they're in Nigeria. And all they do is paint our army black. I think johnny is trying to be careful, you cant give USA everything they ask for, they can backstab anytime. I won't be surprised if I later hear that they are supplying BH weapons. I smell their propaganda from down south here. Kick 'em out

Poems are way more vast than Rap music in intellectual content and scope of what they cover. #No Contest.

The diciphering aspect makes for an even more interesting intellectual exercise.

Rap on the other hand is limited in scope of topics covered. I am yet to hear any Rap that talks about the sufferings of the Girl Child, But I have heard my mian Nigga tell his Girls Biitches to pull their panties to the side and work his diick like a lollipop... grin

Yup! I have heard rap talk more about Guns and not snitching in the hood and hating on Police and other such stuff ad even talk about going to jail like Jail was the new Marriots Hotel for street Niggas. grin

If you are in tune with the Gangsta side of you more than the actual tre life you living everyday (as a Nigerian), then Hip Hop rap is your Poem.

I listen to hardcore rap, take my time in deciphering the punchlines, understand the wordplay. Currently, only jesse jags, vector and modenine gives me hardcore. Olamide doesnt do hardcore no more. In nigeria, a rap artiste starts with hardcore rap, from hardcore to commercial and then to singing. That olamide of a thing will still sing fuji. Walahi! In Nigeria most people don't love hardcore rap. Na dah stupid ice prince ( that can't freestyle) rap that they want

Have any of you tried listening to lil Wayne and nicki minaj's lyrics? It is absolutely amazing. Especially lil Wayne, his expressions are great and makes you think deep. Listen to mirror ft bruno mars, and goodbye ft akon and Maria Carey
