@semidaraeb: i understand what u mean. Copy the application you wish to sign to somewhere like your computer desktop.take note of the full file name of the sis file cos when it changes,you will know the signing is successful. When you launch the signsis, there are 3 boxes. One for the location of the sis file,one for the cert file and one for the key file. Fill in the appropriate locations of these files. After that,click on sign the file. There should be a progress bar moving at the bottom of the program window.when it is finished,you will get a message on your screen that the signing has been done. Now check your desktop. You should see two sis files now. The original file(remember the file name?) and the signed one which should have SIGNED at its end. This is the signed copy of the application. You can now install it on your phone

@fadajasi: have you installed the helloOX first? if you have and the two icons, HelloOX and Rom Patcher are showing on your phone, then you are almost there. let me know if you are there

@genuflect: h.a.c.k.ing your phone simply means fooling your phone's firmware that the applications your are installing are all valid even though the certificates used are not yours or expired. Now ability to view your sys folder and private folders means you can tweak your phone. You can view your installer files especially java and even transfer installed apps from your phone to another phone easily. In short,it gives you total control of your phone. About the icons not being two before hard reset,i can't tell for now cos i haven't tried hacking before hard reseting. If you still wish to do it, back up ur stuff. But remember,hacking your phone is done at owner's risk. I am a risk taker anyday. I always tell myself "if something no do you, you no go learn"

@genuflect: its a matter of choice. If you wish to go on with the h.a.c.k.ing or just stick with signing your apps. Still pretty much the same. If you go ahead wit the h.a.c.k, you will need the ybrowser. If successful, you will find two icons

@genuflect: sorry i forgot. Hard resetting is pressing *#7370# on your phone. It'l ask for security code which is 12345 on default for nokia. It's like formatting a pc,the whole OS reinstalled so everything is lost on phone except default applications. Thats the need for backup

@genuflect: everywhere i'v read on helloOX required a hard reset of d phone.maybe its to make the software "fresh". I believe u have your app installer files on a pc where u can easily reinstall them,pictures,music,videos can be copied somewhere.contacts can be backed up using pc suite. If you are not comfortable,you can get a mobile version of sign sis and sign up applications directly on your phone using tat certificate. It works too. Its choice

@genuflect: can't get a hold of a link right now to post here to guide you. Install the helloOX to memory card. Run it. You should now have two icons. HelloOx and rom patcher. Also get a good file explorer( i use ybrowser from www.drjukka.com plus all the plugins) when you open the file browser,you should see your phone memory has been partitioned with several alphabets up to z: its normal. Restart you phone.it will correct this. Open rom patcher,select options and apply the patches u see there. The icon beside them should turn green wit a tick. You can now view sys files and wit the plugins on ybrowser(i recommend it, xplore was messing up on my phone) you can easily send files via bluetooth. Let me know how it goes

@genuflect: i had the same problem too. What i did was hard reset my phone before installing again. Did you hard reset before installing? Back up your data somewhere first o! Check j2n's link. Its helpful

@genuflect: not too sure but i think the latest is ver 1.05. This one has the installer patch for 5800xm. I think ver 1.03 should do for ur, e51, am i right?

@genuflect: if you are using helloOX, yes. just installing the file will do the trick. its all about signing the application first. still working on that your cert.
