Before Abba Kyari, I wouldn't have believed something like this. This is exactly what Kyari was accused of doing. He tried to do it to Hushpuppi and Hushpuppi set him up and he landed in jail. samuelgodson: |
Do you even understand how finance works? Do you know the number projects, grants, recurrent expenditure, debt servicing etc that will come out of that monthly sum? Do you think they can make minimum wage 250k a month and still meet their financial obligations? NLC is fighting a dangerously stupid war and Nigeria will become the next Zimbabwe if care is not taken. helinues: |

Imagine being so stupid that you would rather call yourself a criminal rather than admit that your poverty stems from a low iq and laziness! 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, I have screenshot your comment and I intend to share it with my thousands of followers on twitter and Facebook so that the international community knows what they're dealing with. By the way, if scamming oyinbos is such a lucrative business and you guys are living in enjoyment like you claim, why are your youths running away to the South to practice your traditional business which is begging?😏 https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406082222110103.jpg https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406082223380107.jpg https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406082223380097.jpg Godons1: |
El Rufai was quoting figures from a survey he carried out when he was Minister of the Federal Capital Territory under the Obasanjo regime which is why he gave a very precise figure of 73%. But sure, keep on using lies as an ointment to massage your pain, even when your leaders are telling you the truth. https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406081915280098.jpg https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406081916160105.jpg Godons1: |

Acute food insecurity is expected to worsen significantly in 18 hunger “hotspots,” including Nigeria, according to a recent United Nations report. The report highlights an urgent need for assistance to prevent famine in Gaza and Sudan, and to address worsening hunger crises in Haiti, Mali, and South Sudan. The report emphasises the ongoing effects of El Niño and the impending risk of La Niña, which could trigger extreme climate events that disrupt lives and livelihoods. It states: “Since the previous edition of the Hunger Hotspots report (October 2023), the Central African Republic, Lebanon, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Zambia have joined Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Malawi, Somalia, and Zimbabwe in the list of hunger hotspots, where acute food insecurity is likely to deteriorate further during the outlook period.” Numerous hotspots are grappling with escalating hunger crises due to the compounded effects of conflict, climate extremes, and economic shocks, which are pushing vulnerable households into deeper food crises. The report also warns that 2023 could be the first year since 2010 to see a decrease in humanitarian funding compared to the previous year, despite it being the second-highest level of funding ever for humanitarian assistance. FAO Director-General QU Dongyu stated: “The daunting prospects highlighted in this report should serve as a wake-up call to all of us. We need to spearhead the shift from responding to crises after they occur to more proactive anticipatory approaches, prevention, and resilience building to help vulnerable communities cope with upcoming shocks. “Acting ahead of crises can save lives, reduce food shortages, and protect livelihoods at a much lower cost than a not timely humanitarian response.” WFP Executive Director Cindy McCain added: “Once a famine is declared, it is too late; many people will have already starved to death. In Somalia in 2011, half of a quarter of a million people who died of hunger perished before famine was officially declared. “The world failed to heed the warnings at the time, and the repercussions were catastrophic. We must learn the lesson and act now to stop these hotspots from igniting a firestorm of hunger. “We have proven solutions to stop these crises in their tracks, but we need the resources and the political will to implement them at scale before more lives are lost.” The report further notes that the ongoing conflict in Palestine is likely to exacerbate the already severe levels of acute hunger, with starvation and death occurring alongside an unprecedented death toll, widespread destruction, and the displacement of nearly the entire population of the Gaza Strip. https://tribuneonlineng.com/acute-food-insecurity-to-worsen-in-nigeria-17-other-countries-un/#:~:text=AA%20Acute%20food%20insecurity%20is%20expected%20to%20worsen,hunger%20crises%20in%20Haiti%2C%20Mali%2C%20and%20South%20Sudan. |

A reclusive tribe in the Amazon finally got hooked up to the internet, thanks to Elon Musk — only to be torn apart by social media and pornography addiction, elders complain. Brazil’s 2,000-member Marubo tribe has been left bitterly divided by the arrival of the Tesla founder’s Starlink service nine months ago, which connected the remote rainforest community along the Ituí River to the web for the first time. “When it arrived, everyone was happy,” Tsainama Marubo, 73, told The New York Times. “But now, things have gotten worse. Young people have gotten lazy because of the internet, they’re learning the ways of the white people.” The Marubo are a chaste tribe, who even frown upon kissing in public — but Alfredo Marubo (all Marubo use the same last name) said he is anxious that the arrival of the service, which delivers super-fast internet to far-flung corners of the planet and has been billed as a game-changer by Musk, could upend standards of decorum. Alfredo said many young Marubo men have been sharing porn videos in group chats and he has already observed more “aggressive sexual behavior” in some of them. “We’re worried young people are going to want to try it,” he said of the kinky sex acts they’ve suddenly been exposed to on screen. “Everyone is so connected that sometimes they don’t even talk to their own family.” Starlink works by connecting antennas to 6,000 low-orbiting satellites. https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406052144540111.jpg https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406052144540112.jpg https://www.hostpic.org/images/2406052144540101.jpg The necessary antennas were donated to the tribe by American entrepreneur Allyson Reneau. Initially, the internet was heralded as a positive for the remote tribe who were able to quickly contact authorities for help with emergencies, including potentially deadly snake bites. “It’s already saved lives,” Enoque Marubo, 40, stated. Members are also able to share educational resources with other Amazonian tribes and connect with friends and family who now live elsewhere. It has also opened up a world of possibilities for young Marubo, some of whom have been unable to conceptualize what lays beyond their immediate surrounds. One teen told The Times that she now dreams of traveling of the world, while another says she aspires to become a dentist in São Paulo. However, Enoque also complained of the significant downsides. “It changed the routine so much that it was detrimental,” he stated. “In the village, if you don’t hunt, fish and plant, you don’t eat.” “Some young people maintain our traditions,” TamaSay Marubo, 42, added. “Others just want to spend the whole afternoon on their phones.” Tribespeople became so addicted that Marubo leaders, fearing that history and culture — which is passed down orally — could be lost forever, they have now limited access to the internet for two hours each morning, five hours each evening, and all day Sunday. But parents still worry the damage may already be done. Another father, Kâipa Marubo, said he’s anxious about his children playing violent first-person shooter games. “I’m worried that they’re suddenly going to want to mimic them,” he stated. Meanwhile, others say that they’ve fallen victim to internet scams given that they lack digital literacy, while many youngsters are chatting with strangers on social media. Flora Dutra, a Brazilian activist who works with indigenous tribes, was instrumental in helping connect the Marubo to the Internet. She believes anxieties about the Internet are inflated, and asserts that most tribespeople “wanted and deserved” access to the World Wide Web. Still, some officials in Brazil have criticized the rollout to the remote communities, saying special cultures and customs could now be lost forever. “This is called ethnocentrism,” Dutra said of such critiques. “The white man thinking they know what’s best.” https://nypost.com/2024/06/04/lifestyle/remote-amazon-tribe-connects-to-elon-musks-starlink-internet-service-become-hooked-on-porn-social-media/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=nypost Mynd44 Lalasticlala |
Oh gosh, the height of ignorance and moronic stupidity in this country. Is it the Gadaffi who could not defeat ordinary Chad Republic in the boundary war between Libya and Chad that will face NATO? I'm beginning to understand why this country is the way it is. Saturnalia: |
Well, he was killed by the same people he was ruling over. Most of what you put down here are nothing but lies and propaganda. The truth is that when other Arabs were having their Arab Spring, Libyans also saw it as an opportunity for them to gain their own freedom. Overseer0: |
Revelations have emerged over the killing of the son of Sarkin Hausawa of Janjala in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Safiyanu Ibrahim, by bandits. A family member of the deceased claimed that he was shot dead for insisting on marrying a second wife who is alleged to be the girlfriend of the leader of a group of bandits. City & Crime had reported that bandits on Saturday, May 18, 2024 invaded the residence of the Sarkin Hausawa of Janjala and shot dead Safiyanu Ibrahim as well as his younger brother, Nasiru Abubakar before fleeing the area. A family member who preferred anonymity for security reasons, told our reporter on telephone that the bandits’ leader had warned the late Sarkin Hausawa’s son to stay away from the new bride who hails from Zamfara State. According to the source, the late Safiyanu met his second wife in Kagarko town and they started dating, but when the bandits’ leader, who was her boyfriend, got wind of the relationship, he warned Safiyanu to withdraw. “After the marriage, the bride refused to submit to him, until one of the husband’s friends waded into the matter, but the bandits came the next day and killed him. “However, the new wife left her matrimonial home the day after her husband was killed by the bandits, which has led the family to be suspicious as her whereabouts is still unknown.” He recalled how the 46-year-old mother of the deceased – Asabe, begged the bandits to spare her son but they insisted and killed him in the presence of the mother. A relation identified as Saleh also recalled how the deceased got married to his second wife in Zamfara State barely a week before he was killed. The Kaduna State police command’s spokesman, SP Hassan Mansur, is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report. https://dailytrust.com/bandits-kill-sarkin-hausawas-son-for-marrying-their-leaders-girlfriend/ Mynd44 Lalasticlala |
Speak for yourself. Nigerians are the most demented fools alive that will ignore the snake that is biting them and focus on the mosquito that's biting someone else 5000 miles away. Stupid people. Watianoengineer: |
Yes because we all know that October 7th never happened and Hamas did not murder Jewish men, women and children on October 7th and they are not holding Israelis as hostages. Israel just woke up one day and decided to start killing Palestinians for no reason at all. God1000: |
