Even with OLED tvs versus good LCD tvs, you'll hardly notice any difference in videos in bright environments, you'll start seeing the difference especially in dark environments.

Of course the colour contrast is better on my Samsung but the difference Is way too minimal compared to what I was expecting I'm impressed with xaoimi on this one.another reason I opted for the LCD sef Is screen burn

Note-the s9plus screen is bared while the redmi's has a screen guard,screen brightness on the Samsung is around 80percent while the redmi is around 50% . I'm impressed with the LCD on the redmi even when compared side by side,might even get better when I tweak the display settings.

The note 10pro is amoled and has more nit but I tested some 1080p videos on both and there is not enough difference to convince me,the LCD display on the note9pro is quite good and that is coming from someone that is used to amoled and oled display.
Moreover my amoled phones suffer screen burn eventually so that's another turn off

Specs at low price is one thing, quality of those specs is another thing. A 48mp camera on a Redmi might not even come close in comparison with a 12mp camera in a Samsung or iPhone. Same goes for display quality. A 1080p 409ppi display on a Redmi, be it AMOLED or LCD, is nothin to right home about in terms of quality of display. in fact you you might even hate watching videos on the phone! Now, what really baffles me is that phones from some other OEMs, even with lesser specs, gives you so much more in terms of quality!

This might just be the dumbest comment ever sir,I have a full hd tecno, Samsung s9plus and a redmi note 9 pro and I can tell you authoritatively that redmi screen is almost as good as the Samsung,the Tecno screen is not half as good as redmi
