CONNECT TWO RS232 CORDS TOGETHER BY JOINING THE STRANDS CAREFULLY USING THE COLOUR STRANDS .TRY TO AVOID BRIDGIMG 3.SELECT THE OTHER THREE RECEIVERS TO RS232 MODE AND SLOT IN THE CONAX OR IDEATOR CARD THE RECEIVERS WILL IDENTIFY THE CORDS AND THE SHARE MODE WILL OPERATE ENABLING YOU TO VIEW DIFFERENT CHANNELS FROM THE FOUR RECIVERS WITH ONE SUBCRIPTION 4. IF YOUR SRT 4653,SRT4663 DOES NOT HAVE THE OPTIONS FILE IN MENU LIST PLEASE PRESS 6969 TWICE ENJOY

1. can i use both c and ku band lnbf on 1m dish?
if yes it should be able to get w2 signal

2. i got a patch download site that can open showtime

someone told me one needs 1m dish to get w3a, that is what i used in nailing w3a/sirius. someone please correct if i am wrong

I finally got round to tracking the naughty w2a mpeg4 signals (3927r & 3937r) yesterday using daarbox! Even though I had previously tracked the bird several weeks ago using the global mpeg2 beam (3865r) on my 46663X, when I input the above mpeg4 tps in daarbox nothing came out and I almost went ahead to collect the new STRONG 4669X until I made a last ditch effort yesterday morning.

What I did: I had earlier replaced my K6 lnb with SUPERMAX extended c-Band on Monday preparatory to yesterday's tracking. With the help of my satfinder software, I then copied the beam parameters for the MPEG4 signals and manually entered them on the daarbox transponder menu and gbam! Green jumped out! I was pleasantly surprised at the full signals (which have been there all along). I am hitting almost 85% quality on both tps after maximum tracking.

My findings: You can receive w2a with an offset c-band lnb on 2.4m here in the south-south. Also, daarbox works well with w2a but you to need to know how to manually adjust all the beam parameters for the signal to jump out.

does anyone know if it is possible to use the dish for INTERNET for sattelite tv by removing the BUC and replacing it with an LNB, will it work?

yesterday was my birthday, went to the office briefly, back home early, i was at the roof top from 6pm till 11:30pm, though my wife was mad at me expecting that i would be with her and our 2 weeks old baby boy so that we can have fun throughout the day, but i was able to put into use all i learnt from here.i was able to nail sirius and w3a with 1m dish.thanks all,
The installer guy that use to do all of the installation for me at 5k per visit could not believe it, i can now say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to myself
