Hi Lexus, hope you're well? Just wanna inform you that I have applied recently after I put it on hold following our chat far back in January if you remember. I am just waiting patiently for the outcome and hope it works out well for me. Thank you very much as you helped me realise I wasn't quite ready then. Thankfully I heeded to your advice as I'm sure I have put in a water tight application of which would have been impossible back then.
Hello MG2801 was your application on hold, they have taken the hold off on 10th August. My husband application is on hold and we meet the financial requirement. God go flavor us

Amen sister , pls hold on to God's word and use in prayer: the lord will go before you and cause you to find favour with officer and the right Entry Clearance Officer who will handles your application with speed,

Esther 2:15-16, ESV When the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his own daughter, to go in to the king, she asked for nothing except what Hegai the king’s eunuch, who had charge of the women, advised. Now Esther was winning favor in the eyes of all who saw her.

9Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs

Proverbs 21:1New Living Translation (NLT)

21 The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord;
he guides it wherever he pleases.

Ex33:19
18Then Moses said, "I pray You, show me Your glory!" 19And He said, "I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion."

Ps 102:13 says “Thou shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion, for the time to favour her, yea, the set time is come”. I declare that this is my time for the lord to arise and have mercy upon me for the time of my favour has come.

Exodus 33:17, ESV And the Lord said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”

Expect good news soon , its our month of celebration. cheesy
Thank you so much dear I am joining you soon with the celebration. My hope is in God and his word, nothing impossible for God to do.

Spinardo:
Hello Teejay.... Your view is valid however we also need to confirm if she has children cause the ruling also affects children based on teh increasing gross income required per number of children...so if she does, that will be a MAJOR reason..... She confirmed that she meets the minimum gross of 18,600...besides i think it will be fool-hardy for anyone to submit without meeting the minimum gross.....

Also, technical foul.... family visa is not the same as a standard tourist visa oooo...the requirements differ. That said, I agree with your thoughts that the ECO COULD preclude that her hubby deceived them into availing a visa with another intent in mind.... At this point, it is the superior argument of the lawyer that may be the winning strategy....even as much as we understand that once u read up this thread, u will not need a lawyer, this "strategic" move by abbij ehhhnn....na lawyer fit argue am... heheheheheeee...

Best of luck my peeps waiting....I know it can be VERY tiring and HBP-prone but all we can do is pray.....and keep faith..... It will all be well....

Just my additions for further clarity to OUR "family"....
At Spinardo

I do meet the financial requirement if not we will have not submitted the application and we don't have children yet. What I don't understand if they think the financial requirement is not met why they put on hold instead of refuse. I am not asking for it to be refused I believe God will take control . Am reading lots of applications are on hold

This usually means the ECO thinks you don't meet the financial requirement. There are currently a number of cases like this pending. If you are 100% certain that you do meet the requirements, then you need to contact them by phone or email and ask that your case be escalated. Be advised that if you don't meet the financial requirement, the application will be refused. You may need to contact a lawyer for advice or simply draft a letter explaining how you meet the financial requirements and your calculations. Some applications have been wrongly put on hold and get escalated once you complain.

https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk
I do meet the requirement, I spoke to a lawyer who advice to get my income history from hrmc. Which has been requested. I don't understand how they assess the applications, it clear that I make over what is needed. I am getting the documents as a back up
TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by sholeke(f): 7:36pm On Jul 09, 2017
In need of urgent advice my husband has received email saying our application is on hold. He received the following email. What do I do next documents submitted shows I meet the financial requirement.

Following a Supreme Court judgment on Wednesday 22 February 2017, the Home Office has paused decision-making on some applications under Appendix FM to the Immigration Rules. The applications affected are those failing to meet the minimum income requirement for a spouse/partner visa and Appendix FM applications falling for refusal which involve a child.

The reason for this pause is to enable the Home Office to consider the implications of the judgment. All other applications will continue to be decided as normal.

As a result UKVI is currently unable to process your application and your documents are being returned whilst this pause is in place. If you submitted a passport with your application, this will be returned to you under separate cover through the Visa Application Centre where you applied.

As soon as we are able to conclude your application we will contact you on the email address you provided within your application.

Prayer for someone out there waitingbFor Getting Visa

"IF YOU ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT".

John 14:14

Loving Lord! The Scripture says that You are aware of all our needs, even before we ask You.

So I come to You and place this request at Your loving hands. You know how desperate I am for getting the Visa. My soul has become weary and anxious over this delay in getting the visa .

O Lord! Speak in the hearts of the concerned Entrance clearance officials, grant me favour in their eyes and help me to get my visa on time so that my purpose is fulfilled.

Perfect everything for me my Master Jesus. I wait at Your feet and trust in You to make this possible.

I know that You will do it for You will never let Your children down. I thank You for listening to my plea! To You alone be all honour and glory. In the sweet name of Jesus I pray.

I confess that my faith is in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, my saviour

Ps 102:13 says “Thou shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion, for the time to favour her, yea, the set time is come”. I declare that this is my time for the lord to arise and have mercy upon me for the time of my favour has come.
Ps 89:20 says “I have found favour with David my servant, with holy oil have I anointed him”. Lord let me have favour with you, arise o my God, and anoint me with holy favour with the entreance clearance official thank you fpr answered prayers in Jesus name

Amen

Hope this builds someone's faith a bit wink grin
Amen
