COVID19PUBLIC NOTICE ON 5TH EVACUATION FLIGHT FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO NIGERIA

July 13, 2020

Further to the earlier notice dated 13th July 2020 on the above subject, the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Atlanta, Georgia, wishes to inform all prospective evacuees that due to logistics considerations, the Flight Number for the Aircraft scheduled to depart Houston (IAH) – Lagos on Friday, 31st July 2020 by 16:00 Hrs and arrive Lagos on Saturday 1st August 2020 by 20:00 hrs has been changed. The flight Number is now ET8574 (AND NOT ET547) as earlier communicated. All other information on the flight and the evacuation exercise remain as hereunder:

1. All prospective evacuees duly registered with any of the 3 Nigerian Missions in the U.S.A. can purchase their one-way tickets through www.ethiopianairlines.com. The Air fare is USD1,500.00 for Economy class and USD3,000.00 for Business Class for adult/child fare, including all taxes, with the usual percentage reduction for infants under 2yrs.

2. Prospective evacuees who purchased tickets, should forward a copy of their evacuation ticket, together with the name, phone number and contact address of their Next of Kin in Nigeria to info@nigeria-Consulate-atl.org. Please note that the sale of tickets will be done on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. 3. In accordance with the Nigerian Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, all prospective evacuees must present an original COVID-19 NEGATIVE test result (not older than 14 days on the day of departure) at the Airport and undergo a Temperature check 4hrs before departure. Any intending evacuee without the stipulated test result, or a body temperature above 38 degrees centigrade, or any symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CHECK IN.observe other screening protocols on arrival in Nigeria.

4. While on board, all prospective evacuees are required to wear facemasks and be in possession of a hand sanitizer for intermittent use throughout the journey. Prospective evacuees are further enjoined to adhere strictly to all instructions of Port Health Services (PHS) officials and observe other entry screening protocols on arrival in Nigeria.

5. We wish you a smooth Evacuation to Nigeria.

How is purchasing your own flight ticket called evacuation and who will leave America to Nigeria because of covid 19! to drink agbo covid or what. It's very amazing seeing pdp with aso ebi (Ankara)to celebrate a convicted looter of the nation's fund convict Ole Olabode George return.
Olabode George was sentence to two years imprisonment for stealing billions of naira while he was chairman Nigeria Port Authourity with others thieves like him.  convict Olabode George jail term is completed today and i see people happy and rejoicing for a thief . i also heard that he wants to have thanksgiving in the church i wonder what the pastor we preach and what he will say they are celebrating. come to think about it is it the suffering we(Nigerians) are going through that doesn't make us to have sense of reasoning or discern what is good from bad,  this act will  imperatively give others to  steal and think after their conviction they ll be warmly welcome and celebrated. may God deliver Nigeria
