I have learnt that business projections and expectations prior to start up are usually exaggerated. Therefore contributions from people already running relatively successful businesses will be gr8tly appreciated, since they are in the best position to let us in on the challenges and also the realistic profitability of these ventures.
Business is fun, adventurous, risky and fulfilling. Starting up can be very challenging too.
If u really intend to start your own business, My advice is to split the capital u have, use part to start a business and the second part to invest in a reliable business or investment wit a stable income.

I am a entertainment entrepreneur wit experience in starting up, building and growing businesses. I am currently looking for partners and investors to buy n expand an entertainment business. If u have interest in Entertainment, we can discuss.

But the difference is that most banks have a publicly accessible reputation and you don't. So you have to pay higher because the risks are higher with you than with the banks.
True... Bt we ar capable of meeting up with our obligations to investors... And there ar binding agreements to sign n commit us
InvestmentRe: Fixed Deposit Interest Rates for Diamondbank, Stanbic & Skyebank - Comparison by SHOT(m): 10:12pm On Sep 23, 2015
naijacutee:
@SHOT. At 2.5%, this is a worse deal than those highlighted in the original post (Stanbic is offering 8.5%). Are you adding value or removing value?
NOTE, ITS 2.5% PER MONTH, on 500k, you will get N12,500 monthly ...no bank will give you that
