If we were this funny, innocent, unassuming, sweet as kids, how come there are so many grumpy adults in the world today, discontented, scared to create or even appreciate humour? At what point did we miss it? #myrandomthoughts# |

This sounds like something out of a movie, but it's real life. Let me tell you guys the story. Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi married Lilian Akiyesi seven years ago, after the two dated for six years. So they've been together for thirteen years. After trying for years to conceive, Lilian finally got pregnant last year...but unknown to her, her husband was having an affair with a Lagos based lady. (Lilian and Solomon are based in Port Harcourt). Solomon's Lagos based girlfriend got pregnant and the two started planning a wedding that was supposed to take place today April 13th. Fortunately for Lilian, she got wind of the wedding plans just days ago. And according to what her friend told me, Solomon sent money to Lilian just yesterday Friday April 12th and promised to return home next week. He told Lilian that he was in Lagos to shoot a movie. When Lilian confirmed the wedding was really going to happen today, she contacted the police, took some family members and friends and stormed the wedding venue - Overcomers World Outreach located at Overcomers Close, off Ramlat Timson str, in Aguda, Surulere. Fortunately someone from her entourage deemed it fit to invite me to the party...lol Lilian, who is eight months pregnant, stormed the church and managed to stop the wedding before the pastor could pronounce her husband and his mistress 'husband and wife'. The police were later called to return sanity to the place |
Married actor, Solomon Akiyesi, left his eight months pregnant wife in Port Harcourt and came to Lagos to marry his pregnant mistress (pictured above at their wedding this morning)...a lady who's from a rich home. http://www.lindaikeji..co.uk/2013/04/photos-solomon-akiyesis-wife-disrupts.html?m=1 |
sssob: But why so much hate?....why so much negative comments about her?....categorically speaking she has made life choices and guess what she is living with it. You don't have the moral rights to say she this, shes that...are you without sin?, have you never make drastic life choices? I wonder why we all have to keep calling her ugly and fake breast...its obvious she has them done, no need pointing it out to us and rubbishing her again and again. You took the words right out of my mouth. They say. She is ugly, so what? She won't be the first ugly person by your standards. How many of you can create the smallest ant? Yet you open your mouth and call a creation of God ugly. I dare whoever thinks he/she is finer to post their pics and you will be amazed that even with your best picture, some would still consider you ugly. What goes around comes around. Karen Igho is ugly, someone out there is saying same about you. |

According to my friend, May said her roomates invited her to a party not knowing that it was a secret cult party, and that since then they ve been trying to initiate her into the cult. |
@wizee, more than 200? So 199 contacts is moderate? @ brand_new". Lol. u have me on ur contact list? May I know you please |
Thanks so much for ur words so far, I really appreciate and I ll relay it to her. Two major solutions have been suggested so far; change of school and being born again. But we all know how hard it is to get into d uni these days let alone change from one to the other. For latter, how long can she keep up with the holiness charade? Won't she be found out. Please keep ur advice coming. My friend is really scared something terrible might happen to her sister. |
There is this very close friend of mine, she came to my house yesterday, crying seriously. I was scared and asked her what the problem was, my first guess was that she was probably having men problems, but that was not the case. Here is what she told me; I will do a little intro to the story, her younger and only sister is in the university. Prior to gaining admission, the sister (I ll call her may) was a very gentle girl, respectful, jovial and hardworking. Everyone doted on her and always tried to make sure she was comfortable in school and she was. Mostly she gets from her sisters and brothers and then her mum. According to this my friend, when May got back to school after d last time she came home, may suddenly became incommunicado, she ll ignore calls from evryone. Whenever a call is placed to her, it would ring for countless times and she would nto pick and worst still she won't flash or text back. It got so bad that at a point she has to cajole her mum to go see her in school, at least to make sure she is alright. When the mum got there, she gave some excuses about her phone not working, having exams etc. Anyways, back to the main issue, she said her momsie called her yesterday and told her that May said her friends introduced her to a party not knowing it was a secret club and that's why she was acting that way.. She is very scared, she was literarily shaking last nite, and I had to just calm her down. I advised her to relax, pray and put everything in God's hand. I ask her to call may there and then but apparently she was sleeping. I then suggested that she send her an sms, telling her she loves her no matter what and that she will always be there for her. I m sorry for the long story but I just wanted to make sure u get the whole picture. My question is this; when things like this happens? What is the first thing to do? Especially for May, should she report to the relevant authorities. As a parent, what should her mum do? Honest and matured response from my esteemed nairalanders would be highly appreciated. |
Not a single post? Great nairalanders! Where art thou? Thou doest have no blackberry? |
Come to think of it, what if your babe had a black belt and when push comes to shove, the possibility of her beating you up is quite high, tell me you wouldn't think twice before raising those hand of urs. |
A friend of mine was going through my blackberry and she exclaimed at the number of contacts on my BBM. My BBM contacts are less than 60 consisting of friends, family, colloegues, acquaintances etc. I know some people who have up to a hundred contacts on their BBM. Which leads me to the question; what number of contacts is considered normal? What are the advantages of having too little or too many bbm contacts? Over to you, my honourable nairalanders. |
white dove: Yippeee!!!! Stephanie Linus is PREGNANT! *Dancing* congrats babes!thought I was the only one who noticed. |
When I created this post, I was really interested in the men's response to the first question, but going by what I ve read so far, it has really shown me that when a woman cheats on her man, mostly its about the man's pride and ego than the reason she cheated in the first place. |
Recently watched the movie 'unfaithful'(again) starring Richard Gere and Diana Lane. For those who haven't watched the movie, it revolved around a married woman who was having an affair with a young man. The husband, acting on his suspicion engaged the service of a detective who confirmed his fears. The husband traced the man to his house and in a fit of anger killed him. That's just a brief summary. The question I would like to ask is for the men only. What are the thoughts that run through your mind when you find out your woman is cheating on you? 2. How do you think you would react? 3. Would you still love her and continue the marriage? Bearing in mind that you both love each other so much. 4. If u were opportuned to meet the guy she was cheating with, what would you do to him? Sincere and honest answers from the male folks would be highly appreciated. This is because most threads have always been about the men cheating but we all know that women cheat too. And then I think for the men, its more than just cheating but also about ego and pride(correct me if I am wrong). |

@jidegirl, giving them discounts is a good idea but to go without paying @ all is robbery. |
I boarded a bus this morning on my way to work, as the bus conductor was going around collecting the bus fares, I heard the guy(bus conductor) apparently shouting at a passenger who obviously was forming "staff". For those who don't stay in Lagos or Nigeria, "staff" are usually members of the nigerian police force or the Nigerian army who by virtue of their service to Nigeria are exempted from paying bus fares. Back to my gist, according to the conductor, he asked the lady for her bus fare and that next thing he saw was that the lady brought out a pair of handcuufs claiming she was a staff. I think she must have been a staff of the prison service, going by her uniform. This obviously didn't go down well with the conductor who told her "wetin be my bizness say u be staff? Abeg! Pay me my money! Abi na staff I take dey buy fuel? U con dey comot handcuff! U wan arrest prisoner abi if u see thief u fit arrest am? Etc. Though the lady later got off the bus without paying, I begin to wonder why the police who can't even protect the lives of its citizen would be exepted from paying bus fares while we the law abiding citizens pay? And then also, considering the cost of buying fuel and settling of agberos and lastma, how much are those drivers left with? Is this right or wrong? What do you think? |
My Mouth: Guy, can you still perform well as a man?I am female |
I observed that my sugar intake has been quite high of recent, which I believe led to severe back aches especially around the waist region. Though I am not stoolong presently neither do I have belly aches or rumbling tummy, could any of the syptoms above be related to jedijedi(or eat yansh eat yansh lol)? Thank you all for your response so far, I really appreciate it... |
I have actually thought about this for a while until it occured to me that I could bring it here and have it answered by health professional. |
