ugo4u: Those asking for Navy PQ, I'm here to tell you that there's nothing like that atleast for the past 4yrs as candidates who sat for the exams aren't allowed to go out with the question paper. Ignore those people trying to sell any material to you, most of the so called PQ are recycled questions. If you compare the PQs of both customs, army, Navy, NIS etc you'll notice that they are all the same they just change the numberings. Go out of your way to learn/refresh your memories on the basics of the subject that will be taken and also practice with GMATs it will give you leverage.. Funny thing is they’d still rather pay for the rubbish questions than listen to you.. |

ugo4u: I don't know why some Regular course cadets are so adamant yesterday I met one in town and obviously he blew AWOL for a flimsy excuse that he wanna move around Kaduna. E just be me like say make I tear the idiot slap, upon all the expulsion that happened this year the guy still had the mind to blow AWOL. Honestly, I started to see things from Sarham's point of view, the indiscipline by some of these youngsters is alarming, how normal human being go still get mind blow AWOL after more than 40 cadets were expelled for various reasons AWOL being one the offences. The worst thing is that they don't have anything reasonable they are coming to town to do, na just to waka upandan go drink beer and pepper soup then pursue all these malo girls. Regulars and indiscipline na coursemate.. Cadet wey wan blow awol wey go wear full kit go town ehn.. you go know say e no care.. |

frypuffpuff: I'd have loved military policing put on SSC but it's strictly on DSSC. If not SSC is one thrilling experience. lol 3 of my SSC friends from course 46 Got MP.. like I said earlier on this thread.. the fact that you are SSC doesn’t mean you will be in combat corps.. I have two other guys that got supply and transport and finance.. SSC officers So nothing is strictly in anything G |

AirmanB: God bless you, Sir. I keep telling people that people use to make it thro merit. i wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it on ground.. the truth is even some of us that went with connect were bounced and people that got in on total merit got it without any hiccups.. 45, the 4 guys and one girl that got in from my state were the only ones that passed Medicaid.. they didn’t know anybody.. they didn’t know anything.. they just applied and came.. 46.. same thing met plenty from Lagos, Oyo, etc.. I never discredit the merit cos they are plenty.. |

softguy1: I was thinking DSSC get faster promotion than SSC officers, since DSSC promotion is automatic after been commissioned as a lieutenant(4 years after commission). lol promotion is 5 years for everybody now.. army airforce navy.. Dssc promoting is not automatic like people think.. it’s easy but not automatic.. If anything, it’s SSC’s promotion that’s automatic as long as you pass the promotion exam.. up to major.. then from major its Insha allah and godfatherism.. |

Alloy115: Good morning all I learnt Nigerian Army DSSC recruit 5 applicants per state. So This 5 per state, does it include senators/politicians slot.
secondly Will the screening be done in our various states due to the situation of the country.
Thirdly How long does it take to be promoted from the rank of a lieutenant to captain. Thanks so much Dssc doesn’t take 5 per state.. it takes more .. the idea you have towards the recruitment can work against you .. people get it on merit all the time.. 2.. dssc screening would Be in Ibadan.. 3..5 standard years .. maybe more in Dssc’s case.. |

Abkhad: I can assure you that exams don't count. There are people that will not even sat for the exams but their names will come out. I don't disagree with those that believe doing well in exams will guarantee you a slot but rather this recruitment is purely connect The exam won’t be useless bro... a lot of people would be selected because of how they wrote the exam.. even previous enlistments I met a lot of guys at the screening that didn’t know anybody and they are officers now.. I know people from here that were heartbroken for navy today.. some with even some connections sef.. they didn’t see their name meanwhile my friend that casually applied and didn’t even bother checking the list since morning.. she just got a text from navy informing her that she was shortlisted for the test just now sef.. so connections Dey.. merit Dey |
