i dont know much about networking but i do know to build some thing like youtube here is the step you should follow:

1. you need mount your local drive to be able to access it over internet like 1Terabyte
and to do this the computer that is mounting it should be on 24/7 maybe that why google choose solar power

2. design your own database and your need a good hashing function so that you can get a video from your drive at O(1) time if your understand


3. Some multimedia library or design your own it easy in c or c++ which you will use for streaming

4. buy a domain name and point it to your local nameserver

but do you know what makes mozilla so popular

1. the auto correct feature -:

this one feature is already on it stable stage but a lot of people find it difficult to use it

how to use :

type some thing like arrestt and your mozilla will auto underline it with red curvy line
now move your mouse to the underlined word and right click on it

2.Sync my browser:

this feature is new in mozilla but it is 1000times better than opera mini sync feature which can only sync your bookmarks

I know some t.m.c.l coders(talk more code less) will try to abuse there selves not me

what am trying to say is that the time is now for us to create one classic software to maintain and improve and for both learning and advancing purpose

I have already finished apps that u can learn industry standard of coding and u can improve it and distribute
for free both in c ,python,c++

and also we can all build new app , find new mod,fork some already existing apps both Linux,win,apple and mobile
