Please i need a sincere advice. Am a 100level student of electrical/electronics in one of these federal university. I currently stay with 2 of my frnds i.e we are 3 in a rum. Today my lecturer that teaches cve101 met with me in church and gave me an offer that i should come and stay with him. Cos d apartment he rented in the town he does not stay always coz he has his parmenent residence in another town. So he normally comes on wekend or any time he wants to teach us. He said he jst wants me to b taking care of the house on his behalf. Am confused don't knw weda to say yes or no. 4rm what i knw abt d man, he is a senior lecturer and God fearing as well. Pls advice me... And cud dis b an opportunity 4 me coz i wud luv to b a lecturer after my skul. Thanks nairalanders

Then d answer I̶̲̥̅̊s̶̲̥̅̊ simply h=± gt^2 square root [g^2•t^4-64pie^2•k^2]\8pie  simply used the almighty formula to arrive at d answer, since its a simple quadratic equation

This ans is based on the equation T=(2pie*squareroot h^2 + k^2)/gh

bros i think u should revise ur ans, try and find T weda u wud get back to the original question, u seems to b ignoring the square roots

tanimola22: An assistant lecturer with a PhD earns averagely well. A graduate assistant may earn peanuts.

To get all the benefits you listed, it is advisable that you vigorously pursue and earn a PhD. This way, you have a choice of lecturing anywhere in Nigeria. You will also get any benefits that you are entitled to, without any stories.

I have a lecturer friend who lives in a 2 bedroom flat in Lagos, has two kids and rides a fine jeep. Lecturing is not that bad, especially if your aim is to lead a comfortable life..

1. How much is an asistant or junior lectures paid?
2. Apart from their normal salaries, are there any other benefits like allowance for house, medical allowance etc
