I am begging and urging everybody on nairaland to do away with not only tribal differences but religious too.

We are Nigerian before being any other thing.when you travel out of the country, they dont group as anything other than a Nigerian.

Let all of us work together for our country,so let us sheate our swords and hug each other.

What does it matter if the president is from a particular region or of a particular religion,so far he does his job, that is what matters.lets forget about the past and start a new crusade of unity in our country.

Infact lemme be the first to apologise.i am sorry if i have ever insulted any group on NL (doubt if i have done that, but u can neva know),but am sorry.everybody,if you know u r guilty, apologise and dnt go back to it again.

ONE NIGERIA
Good People Great Nation.
For Nigeria to be One Nation,
-SHARIA LAW HAS TO BE REPEALED AND SHOULD NOT EXIST IN ANY PART OF NIGERIA , SO THAT EVERYONE FEELS WELCOME IN ALL CORNERS OF NIGERIA
-INDIGENE VS SETTLER LAWS SHOULD BE REPEALED ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, SO THAT YOU CAN LIVE, WORK, RUN FOR OFFICE IN ANY PART OF THE COUNTRY YOU WANT TO BASED ON YEARS OF RESIDENCY.
-INTER-TRIBAL/INTER-RELIGIOUS MARRIAGES SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED.

PEOPLE SENTIMENTS AFFECTS THE ACTIONS THEY TAKE, IMAGINE IF THESE THREE THINGS HAPPENED. HOW WE FEEL ABOUT OURSELVES WILL BE TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND WILL GREATLY AFFECT THE COUNTRY POSITIVELY.
PoliticsRe: Cpc Justifies Killings by silverstud: 7:39am On May 10, 2011
Apparently the CPC does not realize that politics is also about perception, with the image i currently have of the CPC, there is no way in hell i want them running my country, The CPC needs to go back to the drawing board of politics.

In politics, perception is reality.

PoliticsRe: Do You Think Nigeria Is Ahead In Democracy In Africa? by silverstud: 8:16pm On May 03, 2011
Not yet, but we are getting there. The must important thing to tackle will be corruption, and our government needs to be more disciplined. Currently things appear to be ran haphazardly .
PoliticsRe: Are You A Northerner, Southerner Or Nigerian? by silverstud: 10:12pm On May 02, 2011
Well, if you are a Nigerian (most Yoruba's are Nigerians last time i checked). And you are confused about who you are. Then you are quite unfortunate, both you and all your fellow travelers. People make up tribes, and tribes make up a country (in the case of Nigeria). As much as you and your ilk will like to pretend that you are not Nigerians, that is what you are first. There is no Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa country today. So, !!!PHUCK OFF!!!

PoliticsRe: Yorubas Liberated, Igbos Still In Bondage by silverstud: 10:37pm On Apr 11, 2011
the problem with nigeria is not only that of leadership, but that of followship as well. unfortunately a lot of nigerians, both in the se/sw/ss, ne/nw/nc are going to all go down together as a country or prosper together as a country. acn or pdp or cpc regardless of the party in power, if nigeria and nigerians do not have a national orientation that we all work towards then we will all contunue to suffer together. as a country what do we stand for, what are our values, what do we believe in as a country. do we believe that everyone has a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. do we believe that as a country and as africans our destinies are tied to that of zimbabweans, congolese ivoriens, ethiopians, do we stand up for good both home and abroad. until we can decide what our national orientation will be, then regardless of what party is in power in what region, we will continue to suffer as one country and one people, because the cos's of our problems are both internal (tribalism, corruption, religion, mismanagement) and external (shell, world trade policies, foreign interferrance in african integration plans etc). please ask these questions, we need to know what the outlook of these politicians we are electing are? how do they undecided see nigeria both nationally and internationally, and were to they plan to take us? cos' i have no idea!!!! undecided
