All the 24 governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) on Tuesday announced their endorsement of President Muhammadu Buhari’s candidature for the 2019 presidential election.

Gov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo made the position of the governors known to State House correspondents after a closed door meeting with the President at the Presidential villa, Abuja.

The President, had at the last APC National Executive Committee meeting, declared his intention to run for second term in 2019.

Okorocha, told the correspondents that they communicated their support for the President’s reelection bid at the meeting.

The Frenchman pulled a goal back with the Blues 2-0 down, and then netted the winner after Eden Hazard had equalised, keeping Antonio Conte’s men in the hunt for Champions League qualification.

Elsewhere, Gianluigi Donnarumma earns a spot on the bench after a brilliant save late on earned Milan a 0-0 draw with Napoli, while Wilfried Zaha earns a striker card after scoring twice in Crystal Palace’s 3-2 derby win over Brighton.

The first two are linked; you have to play consistently well, and you have to shine when the big stage comes calling. The most important games in the calendar—Champions League knockouts, World Cup contests—should be your stomping ground. The latter point is more of a qualifier; you need to be a big name to be considered.

Borussia Dortmund will go ahead with their plans to try and sign Michy Batshuayi from che the summer.



Batshuayi confirmed on Monday that he has almost certainly played his last game on loan at the Bundesliga club after scans confirmed he had sustained ankle ligament damage against Schalke on Sunday.

The Belgium international joined Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the campaign in January to get more first team football.

He made an instant impact with five goals in his first three appearances and is set to finish with a record of nine strikes in 14 games overall

Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Manchester United over star goalkeeper David de Gea, a report claims.



According to Spanish outlet don balom theLaLiga giants have reached a ‘total agreement’ including a €100million fee for the Spanish international.

Los Blancos are long-time admirers of De Gea and president Florentino Perez is reported to have made the 27-year-old his number one goalkeeping target this summer.

The report goes on to state that De Gea’s agent Jorge Mendes has been negotiating a move with United for weeks and has finally got the green light.

Reports on Monday from Don Balon claimed that Mourinho is ‘desperate’ to land Real Madrid star Isco and was willing to sacrifice de gea in a player plus deal

Real apparently know that they will have to surpass €100m to secure De Gea, but the sale of James Rodriguez to Bayern for €55m should see them raise adequate funds.
