Hello, i have tried it personally but it never worked. That is, using my zain modem with freedom. In fact, i want to sell my ZAIN GPRS MODEM even now.

Just go back to where you bought the lap top, they should burn the one from another laptop of that same brand and give it to you

The easiest step is,
Go through the start menu, to your accesories, and click on system restore.
you should pray that a restore point was created when the system was last formated. That would clear that virus
