Celebrities / Colourism In Nigeria: Everything You NEED TO KNOW by Simbiatx: 7:43am On Jun 14, 2020
This is sort of a sequel from my last video where I spoke about being a black Muslim woman. I also discussed colourism in that video, but a friend I was discussing with after said she did not know what colourism is.

Watch my previous video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0yMV...

Colourism in Nigeria is a very real issue and just like racism, which the Black Lives Matter movement is trying to get rid of, is dangerous. Of course, colourism is not as pronounced or widespread, but it is a real issue nonetheless.

Let's talk about colourism in the video below:

Politics / The Burden Of Injustice: Navigating The World As A Back Muslim Woman by Simbiatx: 6:58pm On Jun 04, 2020
There's a lot of things to be tired about in the world, especially if you fall into the categories of people who 'enjoy' a certain prejudice by simply being what you are.

Injustice has been around for so long, but these days, it has ballooned into something that seems to have become larger than life. For the last few days, there have been several cried for justice to be served all over the world.

Justice for George Floyd, who was murdered brutally by a heartless policeman in Minneapolis, USA, Justice for Tina who was killed at a bus stop, standing there, minding her business, Justice for Uwa, who was raped and killed for going to a church to read.

In Jigawa, 12-year-old Farishina was raped by eleven men. 11! She was only 12!

In the time it took to make and share this video, another woman has been killed in Ibadan, Nigeria. Raped and killed.

In this video, I try to articulate what it feels like to live with injustice weighing down on your shoulders everyday. Kindly watch and share your thoughts with me.

Celebrities / Mercy Eke's Mercenaries Drag Twitter User For Linking Lambo Homes To Fraud by Simbiatx: 10:07am On May 27, 2020
Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) 2019 winner, Mercy Eke is used to controversy and so are her fans, the mercenaries. Mercy Eke's mercenaries dragged a Twitter user for linking Lambo Homes to fraud.

In what was supposed to be a 'joke', this person bit a little more than she could handle and that led to a lot of drama on Twitter.

In this video, I'm sharing my thoughts on the situation and keeping you abreast of the whole thing.

Fashion / I Lost So Much Weight And Found It Hard To Pic An Outfit For Eid. Haha! by Simbiatx: 9:58am On May 27, 2020
So, I took to Twitter to share that I was having trouble fitting into my clothes because I've lost so much weight since I started working out earlier in 2020. I thought that I would do a little weight loss transformation video to show exactly how impactful my weight loss has been.

I'm loving the journey so far, and for Eid, I wanted to share a regular video about how I'm celebrating Eid in Lagos, but I decided to do this instead. This could be what gets you back into your fitness journey.

I hope you enjoy the video. Don't forget to like this video, share it, and subscribe for more.

I lost 10KG and now have trouble picking my Eid outfit.
