Hi guys who knows if Grange, Green springs and the likes take teachers with Bsc Electrical/Electronics Engineering with teaching experience. |
Engrcharlesid yes. ..... thanks for the reply, I taught for a while and I discovered I love children but I was a bit skeptical about getting a good place with an engineering degree . I'll look forward to getting one and eventually doing PGDE. gracias. |
[@jephito]I gathered some cash for transportation, prepared my CV and and dedicated a day to go submit my CV to schools. On that day, I submitted in five schools, had interviews in two, got offer in one. This is the way I got myself into the three different schools I worked in this axis. My greatest challenge then was the fact that I don't know the location of some of these schools. Hence, resulting to submitting less CVs and spending much and transportation. The purpose of this thread is to help potential teachers who are willing and competent to teach in this axis with the list of some schools (that I know) and their location. The list contains all categories (big, average, small) of schools. I don't know about the highest but the least pay by any school on this list (that I know) is 45k. I wish you all good luck in the transfer market this porting season. [can I also get a good teaching job in a big school with Bsc in elect elect engineering before going to do PGDE? ] |
Hi please who knows if big schools take teachers with electrical engineering degrees who have not done PGdE yet but plan to. |
[quote author=Mgbadike80 post=70221520]your prospects are OK, but once you've secure a job with a decent pay, it's always a good idea to pursue a pgd in education.[Thanks for the reply. I'm actually planning to get a PGDE but I want to earn some money to pay for it. I checked online and it seemed like all the big schools only take those with BEd or Bsc and pgde so I got a little discouraged. ] |
Hi, please what are the prospects for a person who studied engineering but has a passion for teaching. Who currently hasn't acquired a TRCN license or done PGDE? |
