What went wrong with the society of today? Why is Pre-marital sex a norm in the society today?

If sex is meant for only married couples then the our sexual organs will strictly only start functioning after marriage!! The world is moving fast and people are becoming wiser, people shouldn't be held up in the bondage called marriage. Marriage isn't for everyone. But everyone is entitled to enjoy sex in any form once he/she is of age.
