MRbrownJAY: that is a LOOOOONG time, and maybe you should start to accept the fact that this is life now, instead of day dreaming about the past. the faster you accept who you are today, is the faster you will live a better life (and if you get a better job then it will only be a bonus to your new life)..... but you certainly shouldnt stop yourself from having a happy family life (as hard as it may seem).i never imaging it could take this long to get back to my feet. but im still believing things will change for the better yes, she is currently working somewhere but her pay is low and she is also responsible for brother though that will be off her neck by september thanks for your concern bro |
MRbrownJAY: ^^^bro this is life for you.......you dont judge true friends and people's character when you are UP, you judge it when you are DOWN, as this is the only time when you will see their true self.almost two years now but started teaching early this year |
@yellowpawpaw. if leaving for sometime will bring relief in the long the she will cope though it will be difficult. her pay is around 12k. i lives in lagos @obua thanks for the insightful advice. ive been doing some private lesson sort of. still trying to get some. but some of this private schools could be funny atimes. i was doing lesson during break bt the school administrator said all lessons should be after school my students said they can't wait students close by 4:00pm while teachers 4:30. i will double my efforts @mrbrownjay i 've some savings when i lost the job, but it was due to the fact that i have to get an accomodation around the time i lost my job that makes things a little bit difficult. with my current pay i'm still trying to see how i can save some amount considering tranport fare, feeding for 4 of us, PHCN bills, school fees for two children and other sundry expenses.hmmm,God is in control. i'm not trying to justify myself but i tried to live within my means,i don't drink, smoke or do such thing. thanks for your advice and contributions. why i'm a bit disturbed is that her mum is not seeing things the way we are seing it .she thinks her daughter is now suffering. before now my mil was my best friend but time and people changes. |
i need more advice. people should pls offer suggestions. i don't want the problem to degenerate further |
@webcam. thanks i will |
@yellowpawpaw. i'm grateful. i've considered that too. but that will means i have to leave my current job because its a private school and i resume by 7:30am and closes by 4:30pm get home around 6-7pm cos i 've to trek when i have no tp. i used to work in one of my lecturer's business centre while in school i learnt book binding but with the situation on ground where do i get the pay to set up such now.anyway thanks for your advice |
@mgbeketoto. thanks very much. i don't know how to drive and do not have a driving license. |
i am a young man married with 2 kids. i lost my job sometimes ago and i've been trying to cope.i've done the following. 1. move to a smaller accomodation. 2. change my son's school to a cheaper one though not satisfied with the quality 3. take up a teaching job after searching for another job without much success(i'm a graduate and the pay is quite low 18kabt 120dollar per month but what option do i have at the moment) 4.prayers among others. i believe in being a responsible family man, also my wife has shown understanding for sometimes now and has been supportive. lately inability to meet some of my obligations as a father and husband has been causing sleepless nights for me. pls i need advice/help if you have ever been in this situation. do you know what i can do to get out of the situation? |
it is very possible. heard bullet could nt penetrate peugeot 504 1983 model of former ashipa of oyo and benz 200 of pa abraham adesanya. i heard a true life story of a vehicle that was packed and the engine will be hot in the mornin w/out moving. |
i remembered a message by pst kumuyi in late 80s or early 90s titled 'God unchanging standard in a changing world'.he preached that the world will continue to change but the standard of God never change.though we are in the world that is changing the position of Gog towards sin will remain unchanged.the only thing that is permanent is change. even now adays change itself is changing.if john decides to do his wedding the way he likes, it should not be generalised as the stand of the Deeperlife Church in the way marriage should be conducted. we children of nowadays want to do things in our own way. we are a different generation. iam sure if pst kumuyi want to do wedding today he will still do it the way he did it before that one doesn't mean his son should not do things different from the way his dad did his.i was a catholic but left when i was in ss3, my father was the church president and very influential in the church. it was considered an abomination, my mum even threatened to reject me as her child, but my father said since my behaviour has changed for better i should be left alone.today my mum herself does not attend catholic church. life has thougth me that we will CHANGE at one point in our life.we are in the world and as christian, we are not of the world. the world will change so also human being.if we stand on the word of God and not precepts of men we will overcome.John , enjoy your honeymoon im sure you are a romantic guy.feel free to experiment with any style during ur honeymoon. |
thank God the girl is alive. where is muskeeto? ur question in the other thread has been answered. people should be objective in their thinking. |

giving it out to a driver may not be the best option if you cannot monitor it. the best option is to give it to a transport company to manage and be paid regularly. you may call me so that i can explain better or text your number to 08116699676 |
@Poster, i can be of help in getting it. i live very close to the church Abaranje ikotun to be precise. since your mum believes in it you can get it for her. you can text me your contact on 08116699676. i will be there on saturday. |
I don't know why they did not put the name of the school even the text sent only bears the address. those who want to apply should feel free to do so through the email or phone number. a lot of credible people on nairaland should'nt be discouraged |
