Been dating a man for four months now. We see each other every week mostly on weekends, though the distance from my place to his is quite far and I have to spend 2k for both tfare and getting him something because he likes it and I don't like visiting someone empty-handed as well, but he hasn't for once gave me anything not even tfare it might not be everytime though just once in a while, we have never hanged out like most couples do. Most times, we stay indoor gisting blah blah till I leave, it's more of a boring relationship. He seems to be broke and doesn't seem to be helping matters because he stays at home all day doing nothing, no work just fantasizing on having a bright future without working towards it that's how it seems to me. He always wants me around but I'm not working as well still searching for a job or rather needs capital to start a business, which I'm still trying to raise. There have been times I had to go there twice a week for some reasons but he never seem to be bothered about my welfare. I get him special gifts on some occasions when I see that he's lacking some needs. He also gets angry at the slightest provocation, he claims to love me dearly and wants to spend the rest of his life with me. He has older brothers that can help him with his predicament but I just don't know maybe he doesn't want them to know what he's passing through. Deliberating on leaving him and just face my life and build myself professionally or vocationally because I always see him as a selfish and stingy partner. He always ask me to get something doing if I can't get a job then I should learn a vocation but I'm not financially buoyant at the moment. Am I taking a wrong step by leaving him? I don't want to feel guilty afterwards, please I need your advice precious NLders.
