PoliticsRe: After Gulping Billions, Sokoto Power Project Stalls For 11 Years by Simplyleo: 4:59pm On Mar 19, 2020
To consume 33k litres daily? That is a full trailer tanker per day.

Unsustainable, especially for a poor state like sokoto with very low IGR.

Hydro power station may be expensive, but surely is the cheapest source of electricity and a state can embark on such projects, though, may span over 3 years.

Sokoto state has water, to build a dam shouldn't be too difficult for a state govt and that will take care of the fuelling for an acceptable length of time.

Turbine and other required facilities are almost same price with the fuel-driven system.
PoliticsRe: Joy As Sokoto Governor Tambuwal Inaugurates Road Projects Initiated By Governor by Simplyleo: 2:54pm On Mar 19, 2020
Very good one from both govs.

Okowa invited tambuwal to commission roads in Delta state. A sign of good relationships for development of states.

Meanwhile, as projects like this are ongoing, some backward miscreants have their eyes deeply fixed on Buhari and Tinubu. Maybe these are the individuals stopping them from seeing abiama.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Explosion Targeted At Igbos - IPOB by Simplyleo: 2:26pm On Mar 19, 2020
omenka:
The only thing that happens in this country which isnt targeted at iboes is bomb blasts in Sambisa forest.

Everything else is targeted at killing or making iboes less competitive.

Just look what a major tribe has reduced itself to. What a crying shame.
Text in bold not true sir.

Our vely intelligent dilector has revealed to us the actual motives of boko haram terrorists.

The whole plan centres around destroying our investments across the country and it was scheduled to start from the north. Most of the blasts in Sambisa forest are targeted at our investments. And as we all know, 98% of the infrastructures in Maiduguri belongs to we igbos.

Have you ever wondered why the lifeless tyrant refused to stop destruction of property in sambisa? Note also that all the soldiers killed in the north east are our blodas from the east and no single hausa or fulani has ever sustained any injury. Reason am na. angry
PoliticsRe: Reps Want Police, Mining, Power Generation To Leave Exclusive List by Simplyleo: 12:32am On Mar 19, 2020
Blue3k:
The exclusive list are items only the Federal legislature can make laws on. The concurrent list are items both state and federal legislature can make laws on. Moving an item exclusive to concurrent gives more power to the states. If this bill were to pass state assemblies could pass their own holiday's without federal input.
Thanks.

And God bless.

Does this help?
It helps somehow.

But don't be offended, I learn better with very simple language. I'm still seeing the expressions I don't understand in the explanation.

However, the last statement of the second portion almost rang a bell, but I don't want to assume.

That is; the Legislative arm of the govt can legislate on one of the lists. Which of them?

And what exactly does that mean in layman's language? As in the meaning of "legislating on them".

Thanks in anticipation of the explanation.
PoliticsRe: Reps Want Police, Mining, Power Generation To Leave Exclusive List by Simplyleo: 11:55pm On Mar 18, 2020
I hate making comments on what I don't understand angry

Pls which one be Exclusive Legislative List again?

Also, which one be Concurrent List?

And what is the impact of swapping the list to which the aforementioned agencies belonghuh

Just a sincerely innocent question.

Lol.

Words on marble:

As if that is not enough, he said; stop chest beating.

With a picture to substantiate. grin

God bless Emeka Nwabiafara Chukwu for saying it exactly the way it is. grin

What I know is that the principal and his son can run for now, but they are just wasting their time postponing the evil days.

Your son bullied another person's son to death and all you could utter is one irritating line?

Just like how Kanu was only concerned about his Jack the nkita rather than his foolish followers.

Good to see you have found someone that is exactly of same reasoning like you and that is the kind of someone you should be sharing ideas with, not me pls.

Because telcos provide 2 generators per cell site and Phones now have longer battery spans , most television sets depend on power from the mains to work and since your failed leaders have refused to improve electricity most times most TV sets are off because of lack of power
Mr foreigner, abeg leave me and my failed leaders. At least I'm not complaining. Is it ur failed leaders?

Tell your useless leaders to fix electricity first before saying anyone should implement pay as u go ...without stable electricity telling cable TV provider to do pay as you go is telling them to close business. You can't force a revenue model on any business , let the FG use NTA startimes to start the pay as you go model let see how far they can go
It is my useless Nigerian leaders, not yours pls.

Under that my useless leaders, network service providers operate on pay as you go "without power".

Pls, you are a whiteman, so allow we black Nigerians to decide what we want.

To deceive his unsuspecting victim s, he disguises as a soldier in uniform.

Yet, when soldiers beat up civilians wearing military uniform without official authority, some grunting animals will rather cease that opportunity to start grunting out their potor filled intestines.

Very apt and well thought by the NASS.

Imagine subscribing a monthly Compact Plus, and after 4 days, you inevitably leave home to spend over a month elsewhere. On expiry of subscription, the useless customer care wont just let you be, calling you every now and then to subscribe again. angry

Una papa.

Pay as you go make sense joor. As per airtime. Charge as per use, not as per time of subscription.

HealthRe: Corona Virus Update Around The World by Simplyleo: 6:59pm On Mar 17, 2020
Lol.

When some goats observed there was no case of the virus in the country, rather than commending the effort of the govt, here is what was coming out of their cursed mouths;

1. It is not the effort of anyone, our weather doesn't support the virus.

2. It is not Buhari's effort, it is the effort of our public health workers.

3. The govt is committed because they can be infected.

And indeed,

4. Hunger is killing more than Corona virus.

All the above, just to foolishly discredit the govt.

However, all the above narratives have changed, everything now is how Buhari is not doing anything.

Very ungrateful animals. angry

Jobs/VacanciesRe: AgeDiscrimination: Nigerian Graduates Express Worries by Simplyleo: 6:33pm On Mar 17, 2020
Go to school in time, graduate early enough and still be vibrant.

Very old things are giving us problems in the office. Very simple and straight forward things, you have to spend eternity explaining before they even understand the concept.

Applying the concept to address issues is another case that will take another eternity to achieve.

These are things which don't take more than few minutes for young and vibrant graduates to apply.

Nonsense and ingredients. angry

As seen on Facebook:
''When the government of a state which often boasts that if it were a country it would be the 5th richest in Africa goes on Social Media to beg for money to take care of its citizens/residents affected by a ''fire outbreak'', then you know what empty boasting can do to you.''
[/s]
When did soliciting for relief materials for the survivors of a disaster turn a state to beggar?

Is Lagos begging for money to pay its workers, build infrastructures or to execute any of its budgetary projects?
