[Thank you very much for your prompt reply. My visa is already issued and the location of pick up is Abuja while I indicated Benin City. Is it possible to redirect my passport to Benin City? How can I do it? I sincerely appreciate your response.quote author=olasubomy post=132331463] Congratulations, monitor the progress on this link https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx by (filling your details) till your visa status is updated to "Issued" Once issued, go to OIS site, login and schedule appointment. it would first take you to a page to validate your passport. link here https://apt.oisservices.com/pickup-service/pick. Once you enter your passport number, it would indicate if your passport has been delivered to OIS for pick-up. Once the system indicate it is avalable for pick-up, you would need to schedule appointment then go pick up your passport.
|
Good evening everyone. Thank you oga OyoTunjiUSA and other gurus for always rendering help. I went for B1/B2 interview for the first time and was successful. I'm not for IW. This was 12 days ago (excluding public holiday). The VO gave me a white paper and told me I will be sent an email indicating how to collect my visa. I have not received any email. I have gone through posts on collection of passports, but honestly, I didn't understand how to go about it either through AVITS or OIS Please help me with step to step procedures. Thanks in anticipation. |
[I sincerely appreciate your response. Thanks.quote author=Ikebabay post=131922459]Hi, The problem is- as far as I can tell, no one has mentioned here that they received a pickup mail within the last 2 weeks. However, two people have mentioned that they tracked their application status on CEAC and after seeing their visas had been issued, they decided to visit DHL (without a pickup mail). From DHL, they were both directed to OIS (the new service provider) and both were able to collect their passports at OIS. As I recall, they applied in two different states and as such had different DHL offices for their document delivery. You can go back some pages on this thread to read their experiences. All the best!
|
Greetings everyone. Please now that transition to a new visa site is almost complete, I want to find out if DHL is still being used for the distribution of stamped visa passports as indicated in our choice of document delivery center. Thanks in anticipation. |

Gurus in the house, I greet you all. Please when I initially applied for my B1/B2 visa interview scheduled for Abuja, I put my document delivery at Victoria Island, Lagos. Please is it possible to change the DHL delivery to Benin City, Edo State for convenience as my interview is in September 2024? Thanks for always coming through for us. |
Thank you so much for the response. I sincerely appreciate. OyoTunjiUSA: |
Good evening gurus in the house. Please I applied for B1/B2 on the October 3, 2022 and appointment scheduled for 09/09/2024. I just updated my DS-160. However, in the section of the MRV Payment, in the Appointment Confirmation letter, the actual amount paid and the Reference Number were not indicated unlike the one of 2022. Please is the MRV still valid? Can I go for the interview with both the old and new Appointment Confirmation letter? |
Good evening gurus in house and God bless you all for always attending to us. My MRV fees was paid on 09/10/2022 and interview scheduled for 09/09/2024. I just updated my DS-160. I now have a new Confirmation Number. In the Appointment Confirmation, my UID is intact but the MRV fees paid and the MRV Reference Number were not indicated. My concerns: Is it a red flag? Is the MRV still valid? Will I be attended to on the interview date? Do I go with both the old and new Appointment Confirmation letter for the interview? Thanks. |
