Even with Arsenal match on-going, the thread is drier than Gayners trophy cabinet. No one cares abut this useless club, not even their fellow gayners. No wonder they spend 99.9% of their trolling life on other clubs' threads because their thread just like their trophy cabinet and prestige - are nothing to write home about. I just didn't want to bring up Matas issue on this thread because everyone seem not to notice his short comings, but tonight own too pain me.

I've been noticing it. From being wasted on the wings by Gaal, to having a wasteful and torrid match tonight. A hererra, Teiger, and Carrick/Derlin midfield would have made more sense.

The team had no problem 2day defensively in the midfield, they actually had no job on that. The two goals were individual errors. Our problem was movement, desire, creativity and conversion of chances.

I'm not talking of the 2 goals but the laxity of our midfielders. Hererra lacked the discipline and pace that Derlin or Carrick has. Teiger was good earlier on but faded because he can't compete for 90 mins. While Mata was wasteful!!

One thing that baffles me on this thread is how everyone is on Rooneys case but no one have realised how lacklustre Mata has been in Man Utd. The Guy hasn't done anything spectacular for us. He is just like Wayne Rooney(of this season), each time chances are put on a platter for him, he manages to miss(doesn't even shoot at all). The dude for me is a huge disappiontment and a total let down. Rooney and Mata should be left to drag for the number 10 position, that way-one of them is bound to have sense. Martial should be starting every match abeg. He's a complete package; nice hold up play, strong, dribbles, opens up space, available for a pass, always moving forward, and can shoot too.

I agree with everything you said. Mata was useless tonight. Gaal ruined our midfield by not selecting Derlin to cover the laxity of Mata and Teiger.

I'm Gaal fiercest critic but for this match, I won't blame him. He got everything right except starting Hererra ahead of Carrick or Derlin. Our plans got ruined immediately Shaw got injured and we missed some goals like the one of Smalling. Gaal shouldn't be blamed for this night's loss.

You called what FYH is doing a vote? Don't let your urge to get one over Dark override common sense. What FYH did is one of the reason I didn't vote and dislike the childish antics on this section with passion. People vote base on friendship and age-long beef. What I call voting is what Airmark, Kr0ne, Emaprince, Coogar and co, did. Not all these stupidity and swaying I'm seeing on this thread. FYH would have been banned if I was a mod, he ruined this thread along some other people.

This section lacks serious-minded mods, now I know why no-one keeps to rules and this section is in ruins.

What a classic goal by Depay.

That said, Gaal chose a god line-up today, but killed it with playing Hererra ahead of Schneiderlin. Before our goal went, during a counter attack, Hererra couldn't chase the ball. He ran out of gas.

Smalling is officially a beast!! Goddamn!! Depay has been impressive.

I can't believe no one set up this battle thread since last week that Giyazz and Rebel agreed to battle each other. The lackadaisical attitude is what kills off the fun in battles. Now the momentum is all lost. Momentum is one of the fine ingredients to build up any battle!!
