About the Role

We are seeking qualified and motivated Structural Engineers to join our team in Abuja. The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, analysis, inspection, and supervision of structural works to ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural components for construction projects.
Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Conduct site inspections and supervise structural works.
Ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and project documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and provide technical support during construction.
Identify and resolve structural issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in structural design, analysis, and site supervision is an advantage.
Proficiency in engineering design and analysis software is desirable.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise all mechanical construction and installation activities on project sites.
Monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Coordinate daily site operations with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical installations and equipment.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at all times.
Review project plans and provide technical support during execution.
Identify and resolve mechanical engineering issues that may arise during construction.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
Verify material usage and ensure proper handling and storage of mechanical equipment and components.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on mechanical work progress.
Monitor project timelines and assist in ensuring that mechanical works are completed within schedule and budget.
Perform any other duties assigned by management related to project execution.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in site mechanical works supervision.
Good understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and engineering standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Membership of a relevant professional engineering body will be an added advantage.
Experience in industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects.
