Modi of course speaks English.

Putin can speak English.

It's only Xi Jinping I am unsure of....but I guess all 3 are speaking English the universal language of business.
English no doubt. Xi Jinping actually schooled in USA, so he is even more fluent in English than Putin. But all three speak English fluently.

Because Nigerian passport is easy to buy. Many Nigeriens, Chadians, Cameroonians have Nigeria passports. It is that easy and cheap to buy, no thanks to the fantastically corrupt Nigerian Immigration Service.
This goes to show that many criminals caught with Nigerian Passports may actually not be Nigerian but our West African brothers and Sisters who take delight in bashing Nigeria at the slightest provocation. How ironic.

Good day everyone, Please I need your urgent input on this.

If I have passed Eligibility, criminality, info sharing and remain just security which is yet to start, and IRCC sent MR letter, and panel physician requested for medical furtherance due to TB scare, my question is, while the sputum test is ongoing, will IRCC continue with evaluating security or every part of the application becomes stagnant until the medical is passed?

Just want to know if IRCC will continue to assess my security or they will wait till medical is passed
I believe both checks are not mutually exclusive. Security checks will continue independently of the ongoing medical re-check; however, IRCC will not issue PPR without passing medical, even if you passed Security and other background checks.

If one is travelling from lagos to canada but with a layover in america with ecopr and nigerian passport, would u need an american transit visa to pass through?
Yes. You need a valid USA visa to pass through US on your way to Canada.
I will advise you to abort mission and use another route like Lagos-Amsterdam-Canada with KLM if you do not have a valid USA visa on your passport, this is because ICE is not smiling now and can pounce on you at the port of entry to detain you or even send you to El Salvador prison, with the MAGA craziness going on in America.

Did they backdate the card? I heard it can't be less than 10days old
Yes it has to be. The card/vaccine becomes valid for travel after 10days of taking the yellow fever vaccine however the validity of the vaccine itself is for life. both are stated on the vaccine card issued.

In 2019, I had a conference to attend in Mozambique. While Mozambique does not require the Yellow fever vaccine, I was to transit through South Africa, which requires the vaccine certificate for travellers. So, three days before my departure, I went to the Port vaccination centre close to MMA in Lagos to take the Yellow fever vaccine. I paid around N1,950, took the shot, and was issued the certificate in less than two hours.
On the night of travel, while checking trying to check into Ethiopia Airline to South Africa, I was denied boarding because my Yellow fever vaccination was only 3 days old, as shown by my vaccine certificate. There and then the Ethiopian Airline officers called a guy on his phone to come and help me out. I was billed N5,000, but negotiated down to N4,000 and less than 10 minutes later, I was issued another vaccine certificate, backdated 2 weeks which enabled me to proceed on my journey that night, so I now have 2 Yellow Fever vaccinations certificate.

Show us the link. Exporting coke from Nigeria to where. I doubt it.
Coca-Cola has very little nutritional value, primarily consisting of sugar and calories. A 12-ounce can contains approximately 140-155 calories, mainly from sugar. It offers no essential vitamins or minerals and is considered an empty calorie beverage.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Calories: A standard 12-ounce can of Coca-Cola contains roughly 140-155 calories.
Sugars: The primary component of Coca-Cola is sugar, with a 12-ounce can containing around 37-39 grams of sugar.
Fat and Protein: Coca-Cola has negligible amounts of fat (0.9 grams) and protein (0 grams).
Other Nutrients: It contains small amounts of sodium, and trace amounts of other minerals like calcium, potassium, and iron.
Caffeine: Coca-Cola contains caffeine, which can have a stimulating effect on the body.
In essence, Coca-Cola provides energy in the form of calories, primarily from sugar, but lacks essential nutrients found in whole foods and nutrient-rich beverages.

I'm not too sure of this question 😂, but what were the things people complained about their government that is still unsolved till this very day? Or what was the one thing you missed about their government?
STATISTICS
Of the 14 rulers/leaders, 7 are dead/murdered (Balewa, Aguiyi-ironsi, Murtala, Shagari, Shonekan, Abacha and Yar'Adua) while 7 are still alive as of today (Gowon, Obasanjo, Buhari, Babangida, Abdulsalami, Jonathan and Tinubu) That is a balance equation.

Obasanjo is the longest serving with 11 years cumulative, and one of the luckiest having escaped Abacha's gallows only to become President again after 20years of leaving the seat.

Buhari is Nigeria's Trump who after wrecking Nigeria's economy in 1983-1985 and literally whipping Nigerians with koboko (operation WAI), he was repackaged and returned to the seat after 30years only to do more damage than before to the Nigerian economy and whip Nigerians with scorpions.

Gowon is the coolest, the only one to lead Nigeria as a young bachelor at only 32yrs old, had a state-funded marriage, and will most likely have a state-funded burial as well when he die. The only leader who led Nigeria through its civil war and managed to keep the country together. The only ex-leader implicated in the coup detat of Murtala but was granted a state pardon.

Shonekan is a man of providence. He was just at the right place at the right time, only to be pushed out without as much as a whimper from him. But he has written his name in the history books of Nigeria as the shortest leader who only held sway for only 83days.

As much as I don't even agree with Pastor Ibiyeomie on some of his teachings, but it would have been better if these Pastors bring out scriptures to counter the Pastor and show where Jesus visited a poor man or woman so that some of us that are ignorant can learn... Let me leave it for senior Pastors of Nairaland, please show us scriptures where Jesus visited a poor man or woman so that ignorant people like me can learn...
Jesus’ ministry was deeply rooted in compassion for the poor, marginalized, and oppressed. Here’s a list of poor and marginalized groups He visited, healed, and ministered to, as recorded in the Bible:

1. The Sick & Disabled
Lepers (Matthew 8:1-4; Luke 17:11-19) – Outcasts due to disease.

The Blind (John 9:1-7; Mark 10:46-52) – Often forced into begging.

The Paralyzed/Lame (John 5:1-15; Matthew 9:1-cool – Excluded from society.

The Woman with a Bleeding Disorder (Mark 5:25-34) – Impoverished and ritually unclean.

2. Social & Religious Outcasts
Tax Collectors (Like Zacchaeus, Luke 19:1-10) – Hated as traitors and thieves.

Prostitutes (Like the Woman in Luke 7:36-50) – Shunned by religious elites.

Samaritans (John 4:1-42; Luke 10:25-37) – Despised ethnic minorities.

Gentiles (Matthew 15:21-28; Mark 7:24-30) – Considered unclean by Jews.

3. The Economically Poor
The Widow with Two Coins (Mark 12:41-44) – Jesus praised her sacrificial giving.

Beggars (Luke 16:19-31, Lazarus) – The poor man at the rich man’s gate.

Hungry Crowds (Matthew 14:13-21, Feeding the 5,000) – Fed miraculously.

4. The Oppressed & Exploited
Demon-Possessed (Mark 5:1-20; Luke 8:26-39) – Isolated and feared.

Women & Children (Matthew 19:13-15; John 8:1-11) – Often undervalued in society.

Slaves/Servants (Luke 7:1-10, the Centurion’s servant) – Healed and valued.

5. The Grieving & Brokenhearted
The Widow of Nain (Luke 7:11-17) – Jesus raised her only son.

Martha & Mary (John 11:1-44) – Comforted after Lazarus’ death.

Key Lessons from Jesus’ Ministry to the Poor
✔ God’s favor is for the marginalized (Luke 4:18-19).
✔ True religion cares for the poor (James 1:27; Matthew 25:31-46).
✔ Jesus identified with the lowly (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss criticized Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, saying, "He did a terrible job as governor of the Bank of England, creating many issues. Under his leadership, inflation soared, the economy struggled, and the central bank’s policies were often misguided, which contributed to significant economic instability. Carney’s lack of foresight and understanding of the market left the UK vulnerable to rising costs, undermining public trust in the financial system.

you can appreciate his debate but I will never vote for a person with this type of profile ...Noooooo!!!!
Liz Truss is not qualified to comment on Mark Carney, As the shortest-serving UK Prime Minister who crashed the UK economy in weeks before Rishi Sunak came to steady the economic boat. Mark Carney never applied for the BOE Governor job, he was headhunted for the position after his sterling performance as the Bank of Canada Governor. Carney remains the only non-British to be BOE Governor to date. He was to serve for 5 years but he was begged to stay for 2 more years after his term expired to help the UK stabilize the self-inflicted economic harm caused by BREXIT.
During Brexit debates, he advised the UK to stay in the European Union but politicians berated him, saying he was overreaching and should not make such a call which can influence the Brexit referendum.
Will his antecedents make him a good PM for Canada? Certainly not. When the eyes of the lion are bloodshot from hunger, it is not from the mouth of a dog that such observation should flow out.
The people who are qualified to talk on Mark Carney are the 3 Prime ministers he served under in UK during his 7 years as BOE Governor from July 1 2013 to Mar 15 2020.
David Cameron (Conservative) – until 13 July 2016

Theresa May (Conservative) – from 13 July 2016 to 24 July 2019

Boris Johnson (Conservative) – from 24 July 2019 onwards (Carney left in March 2020)

As well as Canada PM Stephen Harper who headhunted Carney to serve as Bank of Canada Governor between Feb 2008 to June 2013.

When they argue that there are lots of Indians in Canada relative to US or UK, they're talking about percentages. When you look at the demography of Canada, you might realise that Indians are up to 20% or more of the total population. That's a lopsided problem that will have unintended consequences. I don't think Indians constitute more than 10% in US or UK, so they can't dominate like they would in Canada.
This is a fallacy. None of the leading Western countries have up to 5% of their population as Indian or of Indian origin. The USA has the highest Indian diaspora of about 5 million people and that is just less that 2% of the USA population. While Indians can be loud and aggressive anywhere they congregate, the truth is that they are still a minority in most of these Western Countries as seen below. Fact is a stubborn thing, an ugly fact will always slay a beautiful fable (lies). It will surprise you that countries like Saudi Arabia (8% Indian population) and UAE (35% Indian population) have far higher percentages of Indian population than Western countries be it European or American.

Familiarity brings contempt. KWAM 1 could not hide his arrogant nature and disrespected both the office of the Federal Repulbic of Nigeria and the person of Asiwaju BAT. Culturally BAT is his senior in age and in office, the use of singular pronoun in yoruba language for BAT is disrectpectul as it is for one's mate and junior (in age & position). KWAM 1 knew that but choose to be disrespectful.
Putting a private call of the President on speaker and on the internet is a disregard to protocol.

If he said all that in the interview which I haven't heard yet, then this is credible enough for the new King (Abimbola Owoade) to take charge.

It's really unkind that court cases get to determine who becomes the Oba among the ruling houses in some Yoruba kingdoms. The ratification of the kingmakers after Ifa divination must be standard procedure and not otherwise.
The back story was confirmed by respected Prof Wande Abimbola here

This Reminds me of my experience in 2019 while going to Mozambique. While Mozambique does not require the Yellow Fever Card, South Africa which I will be transiting through requires it. So 2 days before my flight I went to the Port Health office close to MMIA and got the vaccination and the Yellow fever card. On the night of my travel, Ethiopia Airline said I could not board, because my Yellow Fever vaccination was gotten 2 days earlier and that it had to have been done a minimum of 10 days earlier to be valid, it was even written somewhere on the Yellow fever card itself.

I was flabbergasted, you mean all my efforts to get the vaccine are now in vain? How do I tell my company that I can not make the conference that I was sponsored for? Where do I start? While still in a state of confusion, one of the Airline staff approached me and said if I had N5K, he would get me one that was backdated. I negotiated for N4K and after 15 minutes, I was presented with another Yellow Fever Card with a vaccination date of 2 weeks earlier. Nigeria will stress you but will also give you options to destress the situation.

How Churchill Shut Down Ekimogun Day, Rained Bundles Of Dollars On King Sunny Ade

Watch Video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8h43d1kwHU?si=hgKlZJ92WXsQUIrf

The Ekimogun Day, an annual carnival in Ondo town, Ondo State, an event that incorporates dances, marches and impressive cultural extravaganza may have come and gone, but the memory it created will last for a while.

It was the day popular socialite, Dr. Olakunle Churchill brought the event which had top dignitaries to a standstill when he invoked a rain of dollars on the legendary musician, King Sunny Ade.

At the annual festival which brings together all sons and daughters of Ondo town from across the world, the calm and action-packed Churchill was sighted nodding his head to the sweet tunes of King Sunny Ade as it was blaring from the speakers.

Sensing that he was ministering to the needs of his audience, KSA as he is often referred raised the tempo, leaving Churchill with no option than to reach out to his well laid variety of currencies, picking wards of dollars and immediately stood up.

He gently walked to KSA on the stage while a crowd of supporters followed him.

While he was exhausting the wards of dollars, he was sending message across for more supply, leaving the stage with a heap of dollars.

Churchill is known for spicing up social gatherings with his ability to invoke rains of dollars.
Kudos to King Sunny Ade, still commanding the entertainment stage at almost 80years of age with such vitality, vigour and finesse is no mean mean feet. As kids, we grew up on his evergreen music, and seeing him still going strong on stage at 77 years is very heartwarming.

Where ever you find job first is your home province. This means that you will have to live on your POF for anything between 1 week and 6 Months. Without job your POF will last twice longer in Alberta than in Ontario or BC. But you will have thrice as much opportunities for Financial roles in Ontario than Alberta. So the choice is yours. Also note that Alberta is more than Calgary & Edmonton. You have other places like Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Cold Lake, Brooks, Red deer etc which even have lesser cost of living than the popular two cities mentioned above, this means settling in any of them will even make your POF to stretch longer while you look for jobs.

No. Your first port of entry can be YYC airport in Calgary or YEG in Edmonton.

All you need to do is to book KLM as your preferred flight as they go from Lagos to Amsterdam and then to YYC or YEG. No need to stop over in Toronto.

in terms of the abundance of opportunities, Ontario, British Colombia and Alberta in that order are your best bet. But if your Phd is in French or you are Bilingual then Quebec becomes your first sure banker while O-BC-A follows in that sequence.

Atlantic Canadian provinces have smaller population compared to Mainland provinces hence you may be lucky to clinch the relatively few opportunities there hence Nunavut & Nova Scotia may be your lucky charm there.

Hi Guys, thank you for all the informations you are giving here for free.
Please I have some questions.
We are in the UK been here since 2021. But I have continous urge to go to Canada. With this new Nova Scotia Nursing Board Registration, I am thinking of using this to come in. But I have fears.
Will Canada be better than the UK for us.
My wife is a Nurse and I am a Business Analyst.
In fours time we will get our ILR aka PR at a fee of £10k.
From my research and understanding, assuming we enter Canada this year with work permit, we will be getting PR earlier at $1400 Canadian Dollars.

I need someone to help with information on life in Nova Scotia. I will really appreciate facts on cost of rent for a 3-4 bedroom flat/house.
Schooling for children and Family values.
Tax and bills.

Both myself and wife gets taxed 40% and when we return home with the 60%, we will pay Local Government tax aka Council tax. Then after 5years of this taxing I will have to pay £10,000 for ILR aka PR na this one dey vex me pass.
Youkay have not been bad But that PR money dey vex me.
Please help.
Getting your papers will certainly be faster and cheaper than in the UK but only you can decide what really is the best for you considering your unique situation. Taxation varies by province but the least tax in Canada is around 22 to 25%, if you have children however, you will get freebies in the guise of Child-Care Benefits from both the Federal Government and Provincial Government to alleviate the tax pinch on your finances. There are tonnes of Government-sponsored programs to get you integrated into Canadian society and land a good job, you just need to dedicated and discipline. It is almost guaranteed that you if you come into Canada as a PR, you will get your Citizenship in 3years.

I have no first-hand experience with living in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, PEI, Nunavut etc) except that they are smaller provinces compared to Mainland Canada (Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, BC & Sask) and they sometimes have tax incentives over mainland Canada. In all, if you don't mind the weather, you can not go wrong with immigrating to Canada, other things being equal.
