HungerBAD: I don't know how true this news is.
But in a democratic setting, the Federal Government cannot interfare in the free market.
The Banks are not owned by the Government, and as it is obtainable all over the world, the Government plays a regulatory role and nothing else.
The Government cannot dictate to banks on who to sack or not. For ones my brother you have reasoned like someone who is not hungry Kudos to that. |

Politics › Re: Wazobia: Regulated Version Of Ipob Radio? by sirade(m): 2:37pm On Jun 03, 2016 |
themall: And the hypocrisy continues. ”all that OPJ said that day". How about what was mentioned in this post? First, concerning your claims about all that he said; Why should Nigeria security agents even be encouraged to use rubber bullets in the first place? Why is the discussion not about the legitimate celebration of the struggle of the Igbo race and of chief O. Ojukwu? Why should it be about liberation of IPOB from a certain Nigerian government, represented by the relevant state government? WHO says that the entire Igbo nation is seeking libration back to Biafra? HYPOCRITE. OFFSPRING of ravenous snakes. Such a disgraceful display of the ostrich. Any radio station, be it in BBC Hausa service or Yoruba based state, that echoes sentiments of tribal nature or hate or allusions to degrade any government arm, ought to be made accountable to Nigeria. If it is legal for IPOB to accuse OHANEZE and go ahead to link the President to BOKO HARAM, let the UK deal with that. But if Nigerians rightly condemned a governor that accused GEJ of retaliating against the Hausa's because of the killings of the igbos during the unfortunate civil war, then why can't we condemn a radio station registered in Nigeria and believing in the Nigerian project, if it perpetuates sentiments by a foreign based radio? Is Nigeria presently under occupation by a military government? Your hypocrisy stinks Have you listened to Citizen Jones and Aristo of Radio Continental before? Or their sister station TV Continental before ? They are the worst biased media house in the world. Infact PressTv media of Iran is more honorable than them. Don't allow politics to becloud your sense of reasoning, hypocrisy and political lies can tarnish ones future. Be blessed my brother |

Abagworo: Like I wrote earlier Peter Obi's rural roads are the only visible government presence but Obiano seems to be all about billboards. Every 200 metre distance you see one billboard of Obiano "Sun governor of the year" without it indicating any project. It seems the unnecessary flyovers less than 1km apart is his ultimate. Demand for more. As for Imo we have a Government presence every 2km but yet demand for more. stop this obi and obiano comparism in this thread. Neglect that deranged guy to keep this thread clean. I most time log in to nairaland because of this Imo thread. It is so unfortunate what you and that slowpoke chino has turned it into. Is a pity. |

Most pharmaceutical importing companies are own by Yoruba's. They don't like licensing Igbo's guy where did you generate this your fact from guy stop this fallacous statement. betterABIAstate: This thread is the clear the ignorance of most Yoruba populace who so much believe yorubas don't troop in their thousands to the east but before I continue, let me do a brief intro.
I have two degrees, one in pharmacy and I have been in pharmaceutical business for 7years now. Ask anybody in the business, they will tell you that the biggest pharmaceutical businesses are done mainly in Lagos, onitsha, aba and kano then you will include Jos, Ibadan, enugu, pH.
70% of pharmaceutical importing companies are own by yorubas (this is a known fact in the line). They import these products from India and Pakistan then move to aba and onitsha for distributors. You see lots of Yoruba's in teaching hospitals, drug market and big pharmacy shops in aba, enugu and onitsha as company reps and managers. On most occasions, the Ceo of these companies (who are Yoruba) will come down to east to strike deals with distributors (after Lagos, onitsha and aba have the highest number of distributor in the country).
You cannot do these business and make max profit without onitsha and aba and Yoruba's here know this. Onitsha serves as a wholesale point for anambra, enugu, delta, Edo, ebonyi, Benue and ondo (go to head bridge market and see teaching hospitals from ondo) while aba is a wholesale point for abia, rivers, bayelsa, IMO, akwa ibom, cross rivers. You will see Yoruba ceos begging for distributors. This is just for my field, if we are to talk of other fields, you will be marvelled. I get to met lot of Yoruba managers and ceos in the east.
Please drop your ignorance. op the bolded is false. Majority of pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria are owned by Igbos. Even here in Lagos and its environ, most of the indigenous pharmaceutical companies are owned by Igbos eg; Emzor, greenlife etc. Op a visit to Idumuta drug market will convinced you. |
