Honestly speaking, the president should ordinarily be considering these. However, given how the SE has shown their hatred for him, if I were the president, I will not do the region any favors but will not deny it any rights. I would work to complete the 2nd Niger Bridge, the South East road and a few other FG roads BUT no new projects such as a seaport for the region. SE cannot resort to blackmailing the entire country.
It takes only a mature mind to see thing beyond ethnic divide in Nigeria.
You are right in all you wrote. But I think PMB should try and device a means to decongest Lagos, and this can be done by creating a functional seaports in the coastal states be it Akwaibom, beyelsa, rivers, delta, ogun etc as long as it leads to decongestion of Lagos.
Currently the population of Lagos put enough pressure on the scarce government and privately owned infrastructures.

Ndigbo are first to set an agenda for Buhari.

Does that seem normal to you?
My brother people are meant to disagree to agree.
The Igbo has made his choice known irrespective of the pressure surrounding that choice.
Not withstanding PMB has the responsibility as the president to ensure that he carried all ethnic divides along irrespective of their political stance and choice.
Nonetheless some faction of Igbos fought tooth and nail to ensure the emerging of PMB as president.

Uhu-Umuba, Uhu-Orji, Ama-Uhu, Ndi-Uhu, etc.

These are place-names. And in such place-names the term is 'Uhu' for Imo/Abia, but 'Uru' for us up in northern Anambra.

The OP is talking about place-names. You, however, seem to be talking about a completely different word (profit/flesh), which is 'Uru' in Imo/Abia, but 'Ulu' in much of Anambra.
Ok I misunderstood OP

Same word, brother. Uru in parts of Anambra, Uhu in Imo/Abia area.
Dear which part of Imo uses Uhu?
I can attest for URU.
CultureRe: What Does The Prefix ''uru/uhu'' In Some Igbo Village Mean? by sirade(m): 5:21pm On Nov 20, 2015
ChinenyeN:
The closest English approximation for 'uhu' is 'village'. It's completely unrelated to the words for flesh and profit.
I was only interested in the URU.
I don't know of any similarity between the URU and UHU.

Doesnt uru mean darkness?
Igbo word for darkness is uchi chi or ochichiri, in orlu Igbo is call itiri

There is darkness - ochichiri gbara (onitsha dialect)
Okwuru itiri (orlu dialect).

Even if the government failed to patronize this companies I think the citizens on their own should encourage this companies on our little way by making this brand a top brand in our individual scale of preference.
Furthermore we as individuals should see ourselves as the government.

Lets start forming the government that we always dream of.
Imagine a situation where someone will not patronize Innoson based on ethnic sentiments is sickening.

The change we seek for should start emanating from us as individuals

Uru can mean flesh, gain or mourn depending on the usage and tone.
Eg enweghi uru no na isi azu, meaning there is flesh in fish head.
Onwetara uru na ahia O zuru - meaning he made profit/gain in the business.
Ezi na ulo ahu no na uru - meaning that family is mourning.

Cheers

V is an important part of some southern Igbo dialects eg ngwa, aro, ikwerre.belittling it is insulting those people
As for your names
Rafael would be Ravachi
Mikhael would be Mihachi
Shmuel would be Zamchi
I know some Igbo dialects make use of V, but its usage is not rampant.

CultureRe: Igboising Hebrew (Christian) Names? by sirade(m): 10:15am On Nov 16, 2015
ezeagu:
Many of the Christian names are from Hebrew but were modified in European languages and even Arabic. What would these names sound like if they were modified in Igbo directly from Hebrew, I've attempted some.

Hebrew - English - Igbo
Elisheva - Elisabeth - Elishiuva
Rut - Ruth - Rutu
Eve - Chava - Chava
Yitzhak - Isaac - Yisaku
Dawid - David - Diwude
Adam - Adam - Adama
The appearance of V in some of those name makes it to loose its Igbotic fragrance.
The conversion of those name to Igbo show take preference from from origin source and not English.
My take on this is understanding the meaning of most prefix and suffix used in those name and replace with its exact Igbo term.
Eg; the term EL as used in some of the name like EzekiEL, GabriEL etc means God (CHI), so converting them to Igbo will be simply changing the EL with CHI.
Eg. RaphaEL - RaphaCHI
MichaEL - MichaCHI
SamuEL - SamuCHI

After a long hiatus from culture section I'm back with this important topic. The aim is to help Igbos from different cultural zones learn other dialects as well as to enable the younger generation learn how Igbo names were before spread of Chi based names by missionaries. I will like us to restrict it for now to Southeast Igbos and popular politicians or celebrities for now.

Here is a list for a start. We will add more as the thread progresses.
