Hello Fam, please I need expat advice, my wife apply for b1/b2 visa in 2018 she was denied when she applied she mentioned during the interview that I work in a reputable organisation. This year we apply as family with our son but I put it in my application that I am a business owner,
During the interview the visa officer asked the following question,
Vo why are you going to the usa
ME: I will be going for holiday purpose
VO Where in usa
ME: Texas,
VO: What do you do?
ME: I am ceo of xxxx and I'm into Bleep etc
VO: Do you have a family, cousin
No.
Have u travelled before as a family
No.
Sorry you dont have requirement for the visa this time you can reapply later.
My question do you think we would have been denied because of inconsistent in job profile or because of travel history or due to ties abroad? How do I manage this issues of job profile in future. Pls advise, I intend to build travel history now to uk and to visit some European country before applying again
