Please I made a mistake on my visa profile. I used only my first name and surname, and didn't include my middle name (as shown on my international passport and DS-160). I also noticed I can't change the names on the profile page once entered.

Is there any issue with this? And is there a possible means to get it corrected?

This is no issue. First Name and Last Name is the main thing needed

Does 'person paying for your trip' mean who's covering the travel cost or who's covering your educational expenses? Cause the response earlier from TWoods implies that it means who's covering the total educational costs..

It means who's covering for the total educational costs. If you got full assistanship, pick organization option and input the name and address of the school

Create a new Ds-160 form. And input the new code in your visa application "update profile" section. Then print out your new visa confirmation slip.

Please, I need advice,

I was offered Msc admission by Virginia Tech with full funding. I have paid the sevis fee and about to schedule my visa interview. I am in Ogun State. Based on what I have heard about unavailability of date in Lagos consular office, Would you advise me to schedule a date at lagos and reschedule within 60days to start of program or directly apply to Abuja office and hope you get a date around May/June.

How well does the emergency rescheduling works..
