This week was certainly one of retaining prominent positions in the House.

On Monday, ThinTallTony retained his HoH position, while Bassey just retained his position as winner of the PayPorte Friday Night Arena Games. ThintallTony and Efe gave a good fight and recorded times of 01:55 and 01:57 respectively. Bassey won last week’s game, after recording a time of 00:45 and leaving everyone speechless.

For this week’s obstacle course, the Housemates were blindfolded and moved an object through a maize, went over and under an obstacle, crawled through a tunnel, swung from one platform to another, climbed to the top of a slide and slid down again, then stepped on several blocks and finally, used a sling to hit several tins stacked together.

Bally was called up first, and after 04:00, he was buzzed off the game. Next up was Debie-Rise, who was also buzzed off. In came Efe, who recorded a time of 01:57, making it the fastest time at that point. It was only after Bisola, who was also buzzed off the game that Bassey came through, beating Efe’s time and recorded a time of 01:30. ThinTallTony also gave a good fight, with a time of 01:55 however, there could only be one winner.

Announcing the winner, Biggie said, “Lightening did strike twice, ultimately! At 01:30, Bassey ytou are the champion! You will receive a luxury treat from Biggie and you are to choose one Housemate to share your prize with.”

Bassey chose Bisola, who was visibly shocked at first, then excited, as she hugged Bassey and thanked him for choosing her. The Housemates were then asked to move back into the House, where they found several treats waiting for them. The settled down, enjoying the treats, chatting and singing.
